We all remember when that missing child – the one they showed on tv – was rescued.
Understandably, we all were relieved when that child was reunited with the parents, safe and sound.  Memories.

And when we and our friends graduated from school, or completed a course – we all jointly felt that satisfaction of accomplishment.  Moreover, when the news documented school graduations – and even fictional programs portrayed scholastic achievement – we connected to the world with a nexus of agreement in fellowship.
Over the years, we remember those photo albums of life, and move forward in society.

However, we have a disturbing peculiarity.  We all do.  We can admit it, as the world celebrates it.  Movies commend it, applause abounds at its mention, and royalty bestows knighthoods upon it.  But its very nature begets death – hell on earth – a limited, prison-like world where crowds beg for annihilation.

An eternal nature – our immortality – is not even worth considering.  Life is no longer worth living – after our particularity bears fruit.  Its results make us look forward to pleasant routines, retirement, and the end of life.  What is our intrinsic trait that will render us guilty before the court of the heavenly host?  What zealous delight assures worldly acclamation from the machine – but condemns us on the great day of judgement?  We wanted to help.

Philippians 3:13-14
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Death.  It’s inevitable.  As we journey through life, while, we might not like to talk about it – we all have to face the deathly grave.
Unavoidable and inescapable is our reality of terminal disease, organ failure, critical injury, or some happening that will end in our expiry and conclusion – the grave.
We need to face this bitter reality, soberly acknowledge our limited years of life – and plan accordingly.
Is that what you think?  Sounds reasonable, sensible, normal – yet completely wrong.  Instead, think like a king.
Proverbs 10:2
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.

As we quest forward in our life – what is our destination?  It’s you, the unique, true, authentic you.
But you is not you if you’re no longer you (that is – if you’re dead such that you are removed from existence or in the lake of fire).
The whole finding and cultivating who you truly are meets a rather annoying snag if that which is you ends – dies such that you no longer exist or are in eternal torment.  Makes life rather pointless, really.
Critical in our quest, is learning to survive, defeating death.
At the inception of the human race, death didn’t exist.  Immortality was the norm.
Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

When Adam and Eve ate of that forbidden fruit, they died spiritually (losing connection to God) – and decay resulting in physical death followed years and years later.
Genesis 5:5
And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

In our quest, we have to make our way back to that which was an ordinary world of immortality – thusly learning to defeat death.
In our quest for our true selves, the unique, authentic you which goes on and on, everlasting – a petition which logically demands immortality – how do we learn to survive?

We certainly want to defeat death, where death means that we are extinguished (taken out of existence – which is what Sadducees believed).
Acts 23:8
For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit

But we also want to defeat death, where death means eternal judgment.
Hebrews 6:2
…and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Many who consider that which is beyond our mortal death contemplate hell or heaven as a destination.
Daniel 12:2
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Acts 24:15
And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

Isaiah 66:24
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

But how do you know if you will be in heaven or hell?  Are you a sheep or a goat?
Sheep and goats look similar – just like wheat and tares.
Matthew 13:24-30
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

The tares are a type of weed that looks identical to the wheat until the time of harvest.
The tares, this doppelganger of wheat, will be burned in the fire.
As you ask yourself if you are bound for heaven or hell – you might wonder if you can be sure of your salvation?
Yes, we have a test to see if you are the wheat of the harvest for the Lord or a similar looking tare – a replicant.  Have you heard of the Voight-Kampff test?

Blade Runners, from the movie (1982, the Final Cut), administer a series of moral questions designed to provoke an emotional response.
This ‘Voight-Kampff’ test detects those who are truly human and those who are a replica – that is, replicants.
And, proper Christians who are Blade Runners can administer a similar test.
Jesus Christ our Saviour tested the young ruler with morality questions based on Mosaic Law.
Matthew 19:16-22
And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

But The Law is broken – with a broken heart for a broken Law.
Consequently:
Matthew 22:36-40
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Matthew 7:12
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Galatians 5:14
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Thusly, Jesus divided the wheat and tares, the sheep and goats, with a test.
Matthew 25:31-46
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

So, the preacher can administer a Biblical test, just like a Voight-Kampff test.
And you know if you’re saved or not?  Nope.
The test, certainly with Jesus as a judge, worked back in the day.
Matthew 23:33
Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Genesis 6:5-6
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

John 15:22-24
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

Luke 19:8-9
And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

Luke 7:50
And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Romans 7:7
Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Romans 3:20
…for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

But, for us, the test doesn’t work today.
Why not?  Because we live in an era of deception.  (We ask: And if the Voight-Kampff machine doesn't work?)
Matthew 24:3-5
…Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

2 Timothy 3:1,13
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
…But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
   Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Revelation 18:23
…for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

What happened so that we have all this deception?
Every Blade Runner knows.  It’s the latest inception of Nexus Six.
Captain Bryant had Deckard run the Voight-Kampff test on Rachael – the latest Nexus Six.

(13 seconds in length)

Captain Bryant: Now there's a Nexus Six over at the Tyrell Corporation. I want you to go put the machine on it.
Deckard: And if the machine doesn't work?

(Some fans of Blade Runner refer to Rachael as ‘Nexus Seven,’ due to Blade Runner 2049, but this term is not mentioned anywhere in the 1982 movie, and Captain Bryant clearly refers to her as a Nexus Six.)

The number of man is six.  Man was created on the sixth day.
Genesis 1:26-31
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Man expresses himself via his works.
Exodus 20:9-10
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God

Revelation 13:18
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Six hundred threescore and six is 666.
666 emerges as a counterfeit of 777.
1 John 5:7-8
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit agree.
For society to function, we need agreement.
In these end times, Satan needs agreement amongst his people.  He needs an update to his new generation: the latest inception of Nexus Six.
‘Nexus’ means connection, links, agreements, union – similar to God’s trinity who agree – and God’s people who have agreement for fellowship.
But Nexus Six means our agreement via our own 'good' works.

(19 seconds in length)

J. F. Sebastian: What generation are you?
Roy Batty: Nexus Six.
Proverbs 30:11-14
There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

The latest, experimental, cutting edge generation – the new Nexus Six replicants can beat the Voight-Kampff test.  Most Blade Runners are simply not good enough to detect the deception within the latest version of Nexus Six.
What happened?  The experiment on Nexus Six incorporates implanted memories.

(1 minute, 18 seconds in length)

Tyrell: Would you step out for a few moments, Rachael? Thank you. Deckard: She's a replicant, isn't she?
Tyrell: I'm impressed. How many questions does it usually take to spot one?
Deckard: I don't get it Tyrell.
Tyrell: How many questions?
Deckard: Twenty, thirty, cross-referenced.
Tyrell: It took more than a hundred for Rachael, didn't it?
Deckard: She doesn't know?!
Tyrell: She's beginning to suspect, I think.
Deckard: Suspect? How can it not know what it is?
Tyrell: Commerce, is our goal here at Tyrell. More human than human is our motto. Rachael is an experiment, nothing more. We began to recognize in them strange obsession. After all they are emotional inexperienced with only a few years in which to store up the experiences which you and I take for granted. If we gift them the past we create a cushion or pillow for their emotions and consequently we can control them better.
Deckard: Memories. You're talking about memories.

You might think all of this is silliness.
Referring to a fantasy movie from the 1980s cannot possibly ascertain your morality or possibly predict your finality on the great day of judgement.
Oh really?  Are you sure about that?  Let’s run the Voight-Kampff test on you.
Describe in single words, only the good things that come into your mind about your mother.
As you answer with positive adjectives about your mother, your nexus, your union, connection, and agreement with society is borne out regarding quantitative statistics concerning, for example, Mother’s Day versus Father’s Day spending habits.

What happened?  This generation, the new Nexus Six, has implanted memories.

Those croaks kept saying how motherhood was the most important job of all.
From the exaltation of the false Virgin Mary to the repeated blunders of Homer Simpson, and the stand-up comedians who moralize with a laugh regarding the sex-differences (mother good – father bad) – the machine has implanted memories into your mind – and you don’t even know it.
Like the replicant Rachael, you think you’re wheat for the harvest, but you're a tare, a replicant.

(7 seconds in length)

Deckard: She doesn't know?!
Dr. Eldon Tyrell: She's beginning to suspect, I think.
Deckard: Suspect? How can it not know what it is?

Your implanted memories feature news media reports of the Berlin Wall falling, or the attacks on September 11th.  Your nationalism stirred with a new sense of brotherhood and optimism for humanity.
Just like the implanted memories from the latest Marvel comics movie, you knew that if we all pulled together, we could beat the evildoers with bad complexions.
But, you might unplug from the network.  You might rebel and not want to listen to the worldly media.  You might want to forget about the latest ‘Wonder Woman’ movies which feature a kick-ass instantiation of feminism.
You might want to forget about the Charlie Daniels’ hit – ‘The Devil Went Down to Georgia’ which shows how we can defeat Satan without needing Christ.
Nope.  Your future has been decided by Klaus Schwab and Elon Musk.  You’re going to have merge with the machine.  You’ll have to get that brain implant.
Captain Bryant illuminates regarding Rachael’s condition – those memories.

(23 seconds in length)

Bryant: There's four. That– That skin job that you V-K'ed at the Tyrell Corporation, Rachael. Disappeared. Vanished. Didn't even know she was a replicant. Something to do with a brain implant says Tyrell. Come on Gaff. Drink some for me, pal.

You’ve been a fan of ‘Dungeon and Dragons’ games and movies – where those heroes defeat the demonic enemies without walking in the strength of Christ.
You might want 1776 American Revolution values.  But you’re not an American.  (Or even if you are an American – it’s the 21st century.  You’re a bit late.)
But, you persist with those 1776 values.  You’ve got that revolutionary spirit to defeat any Satanic influences.
With New World values - you sing: If I can make it there
I'll make it anywhere
It's up to you, New York, New York
New York, New York
I want to wake up, in the city that doesn't sleeps
To find I'm king of the hill, top of the heap
Crème of the crop and the top of the heap

Jesus had to remind people – No, you’re not that hero who will slay the dragon – you’ll get run over.
Matthew 5:36
Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

Luke 12:25
And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?

God made you for a purpose.
Proverbs 19:21
There are many plans in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

God’s intentions for you simply have nothing to do with your implanted memories.  But you want that cool look and swagger from ‘the Fast and the Furious.’  Or that hedonism of the latest K-Pop video is truly you!
Your implanted memories include the traditions and rules for left-wing/right-wing partisan politics from your schooling and the news.
You point out hypocrisy from the other side of the aisle, as if life were a game with rules like rugby or baseball.  You don’t realize that victory in life is about raw power.

If Genghis Khan and his Mongolians were streaming over the border, you’d talk about the stupidity and hypocrisy of Genghis Khan.
“That stupid Genghis Khan!  Does he not understand borders?  Didn’t he just last week acknowledge that our land belongs to us?  Let’s read the transcript of what he said.  More hypocrisy from the Mongolians.”
“In more idiotic news – Genghis Khan’s ‘infinite wisdom’ has allowed our country be overrun by more of his unruly people.”
“Now the Mongolians are raping my wife, and… wait for it… wait for it… they’ve just slit the throats of my children.  One rule for me and one rule for thee.  More hypocritical leadership from Khan.”
“Despite assurances of prosperity and peace from the newly arrived hordes of Mongolians – murders and pillaging have reached levels exceeding the disastrous reign of Alexander the Great.  Let that sink in.”
(But those implanted memories with a nature of scoffing in a Seinfeld-esque way is all you know.)

Your memory of the latest environmental disaster, like the Exxon Valdez oil spill, is drilled into your brain by the media spin which influences your subsequent discourse with your friends.
Thusly, you have quick answers to morality questions involving saving the animals.

(41 seconds in length)

Deckard: It's your birthday. Someone gives you a calfskin wallet.
Rachael: I wouldn't accept it. Also, I'd report the person who gave it to me to the police.
Deckard: You've got a little boy. He shows you his butterfly collection plus the killing jar.
Rachael: I'd take him to the doctor.
Deckard: You're watching television. Suddenly you realize there's a wasp crawling on your arm.
Rachael: I'd kill it.

As we dutifully remember the Youtube and cable adverts that explain how we are naturally eating less meat – and promote soy vegetarian burgers – these shared implanted memories give us agreement – an agreement for a new unified society.
If you rebel against the new morality of agreement with the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)  – like Rachael failed on the third ‘wasp’ question – don’t worry.  Help is on the way.  Remember, Captain Bryant specified that Rachael’s memories were via brain implant.
Once you get the brain implant, you’ll plug into the new morality with its updates.  Finally, you’ll be a good person.

(23 seconds in length)

Bryant: They were designed to copy human beings in every way except their emotions. The designers reckoned that after a few years they might develop their own emotional responses. You know, hate, love, fear, anger, envy. So they built in a fail-safe device.
Deckard: Which is what?
Bryant: Four year lifespan.

Nexus Six carried a fail-safe device, a four year lifespan – as they were dangerous to all around.
You might think that this has nothing to do with you.
Genesis 5:3-32
And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:
And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Humans used to live hundreds of years – and scientists nowadays have theories – but still cannot understand our limited lifespan.
Because of human wickedness, God set a limit on human life.
Lifespan topping out around 80 years:
Psalm 90:10
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

In our quest for immortality, this whole limit on our lifespan thing isn’t helping.
If you are Nexus Six, a tare, the spawn of the Devil – the Devil and the world have a solution for you.
Remember – while the love of money is the root of all evil for those of Christ – money makes the world go around for those of the god of this world.

Tyrell: Commerce, is our goal here at Tyrell. More human than human is our motto. Rachael is an experiment, nothing more.

With Big Pharmaceutical companies, new vaccines, therapeutics, medications, Satan has plans for his people.
Moreover, genetic experimentation, mutations, and DNA coding allow humanity to reach new heights.
More human than human: Combat model.  Optimum self-sufficiency.
Joel 2:5-9
Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

But, as we have witnessed, even those who can afford the best medical treatments, the best therapies, simply cannot defeat death.
Rightly, Nexus Six, the limit of human effort, asks the maker for more life.

(2 minutes, 16 seconds in length)

Tyrell: What– What seems to be the problem?
Roy: Death.
Tyrell: Death. Well, I'm afraid that's a little out of my jurisdiction, you–
Roy: I want more life, father.
Tyrell: The facts of life. To make an alteration in the evolvement of an organic life system is fatal. A coding sequence cannot be revised once it's been established.
Roy: Why not?
Tyrell: Because by the second day of incubation, any cells that have undergone reversion mutations give rise to revertant colonies like rats leaving a sinking ship. Then the ship sinks.
Roy: What about EMS recombination?
Tyrell: We've already tried it. Ethyl methane sulfonate as an alkylating agent a potent mutagen. It created a virus so lethal the subject was dead before he left the table.
Roy: Then a repressive protein that blocks the operating cells.
Tyrell: Wouldn't obstruct replication, but it does give rise to an error in replication so that the newly formed DNA strand carries the mutation and you've got a virus again. But, uh, this– all of this is academic. You were made as well as we could make you.
Roy: But not to last.
Tyrell: The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long. And you have burned so very, very brightly, Roy. Look at you. You're the prodigal son. You're quite a prize!
Roy: I've done questionable things.
Tyrell: Also extraordinary things. Revel in your time.
Roy: Nothing the god of biomechanics wouldn't let you in heaven for.

Yes, for its people, the machine gives coding sequences, EMS recombinations, newly formed DNA strands, modern vaccines, revolutionary surgeries – but the machine cannot defeat death.

Christians are to be the light of the world.  Christians share the teachings of Christ to all nations – helping people see clearly to avoid the deception in darkness.
Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Matthew 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

But the reality is that so many who learn about the Gospel from those sowing seeds of the Word – never amount to much.
Mark 4:2-8
And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,
Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:
And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.
And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

The light will only scorch many people.  Jesus explains the parable.
Mark 4:13-20
And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
   The sower soweth the word.
And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
   And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

With the parable explained, we see that the light will help for a time, but with afflictions and persecutions of being in Christ’s Word – many fall away.
This is not defeating death.  This is not immortality.

Professing Christians do not stick to the Word – but conform to the worldly.  With our plans for life, completing our life’s ‘bucket list,’ we sensibly save for retirement, plan out our future years, always believing that the facts of life will lead to death.
We limit the Holy One in our lives.  We never let that which is beyond natural, supernatural – become natural to us.
We rationally and scientifically see the light, but know that the facts of life include the flame’s exhaustion.  Who we are and what we can do will always be limited by our soulish senses and reasoning.
That which is amazing only will be momentary as it exhausts measurable resources.
We know that the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long.

Christians are to be the light of the world.

Philippians 2:15
   That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Ephesians 5:8-13
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

The light comes from the fire.
Luke 3:16
…he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire

Acts 2:3-4
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

But – with sensible logic of the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long – we live in the soulish.
The light would naturally run out of fuel – and burn out as normal – right?
Moses had to confront this quandary.

Exodus 3:2-4
And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

Exodus 3:13-15
And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

I am.  Not ‘I was,’ or ‘I will be.’  I am.  An eternal present tense.
Like the burning bush that goes on and on – we have to find our way back to the world where the everlasting was ordinary – and corruption didn’t exist.

Burning flames, the fire, is something all of us have to deal with in this world.
In this world, when you assert your position or opinion – you might speak it, you might put it on social media, you might write it in an essay.
But, by putting your beliefs into the world, you of course invite criticism.
When the Apostle Paul spoke to people and wrote his epistles (letters), of course the critics abounded.
2 Corinthians 10:10
For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.

But, you, like Paul, certainly can criticise your critics.

2 Corinthians 10:11-13
Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present.
For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.

Acts 13:45-46
But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Acts 28:23-24
And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.
And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.

2 Corinthians 11:5-12
For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.
But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.
Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?
I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.
And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.
As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.
But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.

The Bible likens this communication (speech, writing, assertions, criticisms, arguments, edifications, etc.) to fire.
We burn each others’ books, letters, epistles, essays – with our back and forth criticism.
Jeremiah 5:14
Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Jeremiah 23:28-29
…and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
   Is
not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

Acts 19:19-20
Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

Remember, Christians are to be on fire with the tongue.
Acts 2:3-4
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Reasonably, we criticise each other, and if you’re talking crap, if you're talking nonsense – you’re going to get burned – and your assertions will not stand the test of time.
The key to immortality is to stand up to worldly criticism – with the fire of the Lord’s Word.
No, this isn’t defending your position by saying platitudes that everyone says like ‘the truth is somewhere in the middle’ or ‘the simplest explanation is usually the right one’ or ‘never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.’
These cop-out, defeatist arguments (usually said when we haven’t a clue) adhere to the mainstream world, staying inside acceptable discourse, the Overton Window – adhering to a world which will die.
Luke 21:33
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

To stand the test of time – to be eternal – your arguments have to be able to withstand and defeat assaults from all directions.
Fire burns omni-directionally – in all directions.  Your arguments can’t simply adhere to popular morals of the day – by speaking partisan politics or conforming platitudes like “The pendulum will eventually swing back to the middle, centrist position.”
Importantly, your righteous judgement has to be for yourself.  That fire, which burns all – omni-directionally, burns yourself (with righteous criticism/judgement for yourself|).

(12 seconds in length)

Rachael: You know that Voight-Kampff test of yours? Did you ever take that test yourself?

You are invulnerable to fire – which normally kills – if you have already put the fire upon yourself and survived.
Matthew 7:2
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

When you bring fire (the arguments that justify Christ as the Son of God), measuring all, including yourself against the standard set by Christ Jesus – an omnidirectional fire for you and all – and you survive this judgement, you are truly immortal.
Those who chose to soulishly cling to whatever are the popular gods of the day (feminism, socialism, capitalism, communism, libertarianism) – and cultivate popularity amongst the people, will not survive the fire.

Mark 8:35
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

Ultimately, we all face the day of judgement.
Revelation 20:11-15
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

What is this day of judgment?  It’s a day of inquisition… explaining to us that we should have acted with the discernment we had.
(Even those of the resurrection – not white throne judgement – have to give an account.)
Romans 14:10-12
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

2 Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Luke 12:54-56
And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.
And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.
Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

As we see all of Creation, including ourselves, we should have been looking for a Creator, not evolution silliness where everything randomly built itself.
Romans 1:19-20
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse

Why did we stick to the lies (the common sense) of the world?
John 8:45-46
And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

We believe that today will be like yesterday, and the world would stay as our common sense version of ‘normal.’
We should have listened to Scripture and know that this world can change very quickly.
James 4:13-15
Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

Luke 21:5-11
And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Werner Heisenberg, a Nobel Laureate in Physics, attested of his spoken fire which confronted the reality of God’s truth.
“The first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will turn you into an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass God is waiting for you.” [“Der erste Trunk aus dem Becher der Naturwissenschaft macht atheistisch, aber auf dem Grund des Bechers wartet Gott.”] (Heisenberg, as cited in Hildebrand 1988, 10).

Acts 10:9-16
On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

Peter logically connected the cleansing of food (common, unclean) with the Old Testament’s promise of light to the Gentiles (people who are common, unclean).
Acts 10:28
And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Isaiah 11:10
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

Isaiah 49:22
Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

Those of the circumcision (Jews) were astonished that Gentiles would receive the Holy Spirit.
Acts 10:44-45
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

In short, the fire of Peter’s argument burned his opponents’ arguments – as he spoke his world into existence.

Repentant Christians who are properly blade running live in a world of fire – arguments which uphold that, when we logically analyze the information that we have, the existence of a Creator, and the record of prophecy in the Bible – demand recognition of Christ as God in man’s form, our Saviour.
But, unfortunately, our morality has the implanted memories from the machine.
Most of us become simple, like dust and ashes, by conforming to the world’s fires of criticism.  You might remember the ‘United Colors of Benetton.’  Diversity became our strength.

Even if you rejected the diversity message, you’ve learned to accept a new world of fellowship via plastic smiles frozen in time.  Memories.  Be sure to post them on social media.

Blade Runner Deckard gives a judging look when Rachael fails (the wasp question) regarding the new morality – during the Voight-Kampff test.

Deckard: You're watching television. Suddenly you realize there's a wasp crawling on your arm.
Rachael: I'd kill it.

Our Voight-Kampff test cannot distinguish between wheat and tares, sheep and goats – not only because of Nexus Six deception, but also because of the tester.
Unfortunately, the man administering the Voight-Kampff test – like professing Christians in the stead of Jesus Christ – has been compromised.
Deckard disapproves of Rachael immediately answering that she would kill the wasp – as Deckard has fallen to the new morality of saving the animals.
And so many professing Christians who test their flock are of the new morality of feminism, veganism, patriotism, communism – build back better!

Luke 6:39
And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

To be immortal, we need to defeat death.  And to defeat death, we need to know what death is.
Death is a process of corruption.  You can have a nice looking piece of fruit like a peach or an orange, but, over time, it will decay.
Similarly we get old and our body suffers corruption over time.
If we don’t die in a car accident or of a drug overdose, eventually this temporal corruption, as a matter of normally will cause us to die.
God declared that Adam would die on that day, and, with a spiritual disconnection to God, Adam started the process of temporal corruption that would cause him to die hundreds of years later.

Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

We suffer not only physical corruption of getting older, but our soul/character/mind/personality becomes corrupted.  We give up our childhood creativity as we conform to the world of partisan politics, getting sensible jobs, worrying about money, dressing and acting respectably.
Luke 18:17
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Luke 12:29-31
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Near the end of our lives, most people will enjoy being a label, which fits in with the world, rather than cultivating our true self.
The fire of our arguments is to burn the corruption.
Our speech, our communication, is to burn arguments of turning socialism, capitalism, communism into religions.  We are to refute the supposed glory of corporate career success and prideful accomplishments – as all of these fade with time.
The Bible likens that which will be logically refuted by our fiery arguments to that which burns.
That which is eternal is likened to gold, silver, and precious stones.

1 Corinthians 3:11-13
For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
   Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

Our logical arguments, with a proper search of the truth, should result in the conclusion that societies can only be eternal and sustaining (beyond corruption) if people adhere to the goodness consolidated in the man Jesus Christ.
Acts 17:2-3
And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.

Any silliness from astrologers and the like should be refuted.
Isaiah 47:13-14
Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.

Proper Christians stand with God’s fire.
Malachi 4:1
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

The gold and precious stones survive the fire to the end.
Revelation 21:18-21
And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
   And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

Isaiah 10:16-19
Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
   And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;
And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth.
And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.

Similarly, proper Christians are stones – built upon the cornerstone of Jesus.
Ephesians 2:19-22
   Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
   And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

1 Peter 2:4-8
To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

But when we logically argue against the logic of the world – evolution, squirreling away money for ourselves, pride, dignity, conformity – we do not have an easy life.
We have a life of trouble – beatings.

Acts 14:22
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

When we repent and commit to enter God’s world, we enter a world of our own tragedy.
Fellowship of sufferings:

Philippians 3:10-11
   That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

We rejoice if we are counted worthy to suffer shame for Christ.
Acts 5:40-42
And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

As we speak fires of God’s Word – speaking our world into existence, the reality is that we begin with repentance.  When we move into God’s world – we find our place in the body of Christ and our path going forwards pursuing Christ – finding Christ revealed in us.
While both sheep and goats suffer in this world…

Luke 6:47-49
Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

…those on the path towards Christ suffer applied pressure to mold them as the potter’s art.
As we enter God’s world, we enter a world of our own testing and ultimately judgement.

God wants our eyes opened to see our quest, our hope of his calling to us.
Ephesians 1:18-19
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power…

But most of us prefer the simple, cartoonish world of the machine – where we can accuse the bad people on the other side of the political aisle.
We would rather not work hard, getting our hands dirty, to create a nuanced, complex, detailed world.  We want a world of fast food and simple answers rather than learning to cook with spices and the art of conversation.

Proverbs 1:22-25
How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
   Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof…

And the simplicity of day-to-day routines, conforming with non-offensive workplace jokes, repeated platitudes of “How was your weekend?” lead to simple dust and ashes – as when the fire tests us, we have no precious metals or jewels – just chaff for the fire of death.
In the light, we see the truth of our world, our situation.
But with disturbing truths seen in the light, most want shadows, the darkness, to hide the truth – which is often difficult to confront.

John 3:19-20
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

We go alone to God.
Matthew 6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

So that we can be in the light of truth, we do not bring anything to God that could cast shadows – a darkness in which we can hide.
We do not bring our educational background, our possessions, our thanks from the adoring crowds.
Our shared memories of education in economics might obscure what God wants to tell us about the financial collapse of worldly systems.  We, with knowledge of legal fiscal protections, might want that shadow so we can speak of our financial plans with our friends, and thus crowd out God’s message with the darkness of what will be lies.
Our hidden jewelry and new survival kit might cast a shadow that we love – where we can survive by our own efforts – without God’s Grace.  The lies that we speak about our gold, survival skills and equipment will, in practise, never survive the fires of argument explaining what tragedies face us.

James 5:2-3
Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

God’s light will scorch us, because we are so used to having some worldly protection that will cast a shadow – a darkness where we are good people.  Honest we are.  It’s those other people that me and my friends agree are bad people.  Let’s talk about their hypocrisies.  (We need the darkness to hide our hypocrisies.)
In God’s light, the fire creating the light will argue us into the ground on that great day of judgement, inquisition.
We hide behind the shadow of our country’s legal system and bill of rights and constitutions.  We haven’t done anything to violate these systems, but we will say our enemies have.  (But have we adhered to the spirit of the law inspiring these legal systems?  Can we effectively argue our case – or will the fire of that argument flame out?)
Elijah needed a shadow of darkness to indulge his deception.
Elijah sat under a juniper tree.

1 Kings 19:4
   But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die;

To avoid the light, Elijah went into a cave, and lived in error by saying to God that he was the only prophet left… even though Obadiah earlier had told him that there were other prophets alive – similarly in caves.
1 Kings 19:9-10
And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?
And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

1 Kings 18:13
Was it not told my lord what I did when Jezebel slew the prophets of the LORD, how I hid an hundred men of the LORD'S prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water?

The problem that leads to our death is our implanted memories that we all share – the common sense, logical facts of life from the shadows of our education system and the mass media.  We view immortality as silliness – not worth pursuing, as we scientifically, rationally, and sensibly know that the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long.
We say that death and taxes are inevitable.

1 Corinthians 15:12-14
Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

If we were to confront death as a problem to be overcome – the wisdom of the world would say: Well, I'm afraid that's a little out of my jurisdiction.
Likewise, Elijah focused on death.

1 Kings 19:4
…and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

Similarly, Jonah was nihilistic.
Jonah 4:3
Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.

Elijah sat down under a juniper tree and Jonah sat under a shelter.
Jonah 4:5
So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a shelter, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.

Why did Elijah and Jonah sit under shelters?  They wanted to be protected from the light, the flame.  They wanted to be in the shadows, the darkness.
Jonah adhered to rise and fall – the growth of the gourd and its death – and God was willing to indulge Jonah’s adherence to the temporal.

Jonah 4:6-8
And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.
But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered.
And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.

Protected from the scorching sunlight, Jonah lived in error.
Jonah 4:9-11
And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.
Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:
And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

The light is scorching.
When we are puffed up (arrogant) like leavened bread, our arguments are hypocritical.
For example, our libertarian logic of liberty for all, but demanding enforcement of rules and changes to rules regarding that which don’t like (ban porn, limit immigration, get off my private property) – demands darkness – a blindness which papers over the hypocrisies and logical mistakes.

Luke 12:1-3
In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

On the day of judgement, nothing is covered, and every doubt, every arrogance, every selfish thought and action (disguised as selflessness and charity) will be scorched by the light.
It will be embarrassing for those who have not confessed – especially for those who exalted themselves by saying: “I have the answers.  Follow me.”

Ecclesiastes 12:14
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

We all want to say that we are amazing, because – we are amazing.  Look at all the good works we have done!!
We need that darkness to cover the light, the fire that tests us in the furnace.
We need that darkness to cover the real logic that shows that for society to exist, for us to exist in harmonious, thriving communities, we need to sacrifice for each other, and be humble, lowly, a servant for each other.
(But darkness cannot stand against even a very small candlelight.)

John 3:19-21
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

We need that darkness, that blindness to the real logic of humanity’s need for proper gender roles, and blessing others through real affectionate servitude.
“No, we need career goals.  Thank God that my wife can pursue career fulfilment and be a captain of industry.  Society will not logically fall (as the light emerges) with the reality that career fulfilment, the good jobs, are only for a few – not the hordes demanding good jobs, fueled by vague, but repeated, promises of vocational gratification.  Okay, maybe the young people who were raised on a diet of narcissism and materialism are now destroying everything with rage – but I have my darkness to blind me to this reality.”

The light which is truth is tough to accept.
You might be a preacher who would confess that you’re bringing forth proper fruit for the Lord.  But, in the light, you would see that you could have promoted a Christian book, video, or webpage that really helped you on your Christian walk.  But you didn’t pass on that book, video, or webpage.  Instead, you incorporated the information from these sources to further your own ministry.  Passing on information from another contemporary preacher would have helped your flock – but it would have made you look weak, inferior.  This light is difficult to confront and accept.
For Paul (when he was called Saul), the light that showed Paul the truth of his unrighteous acts – this light blinded Paul.

Acts 9:3-9
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

Similarly, Elijah needed to cover his face for the light from the fire after encountering the Lord.
1 Kings 19:12-13
And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave.

Again similarly, Moses hid his face from God.
Exodus 3:6
And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

But, in time, the caliber of Moses meant that he could talk face to face with God.
Exodus 33:11
And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend.

Accordingly, Moses’ face shone with the light.
Exodus 34:29-30
And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tablets of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.

Why could Moses be in God’s light such that it reflected with face to face communication?
Because he had already removed the shadows from his life for quite some time.
After Moses fled from Pharaoh…

Exodus 2:15
Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.

…Moses lived in the desert.  Deserts don’t have much to cast shadows.
Exodus 3:1
Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

Acts 7:30
And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.

After forty years in the desert, an eighty year old Moses had no more shadows of his pride, his wisdom, his ‘good’ works and words – which contrasted with the younger forty years old Moses:
Acts 7:22-23
And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.
And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.

An eighty year old Moses wouldn’t need a shelter to avoid being scorched by the light of God’s fire.
In the desert, to survive, you better have root so that you can accept the sun’s light and grow.  When you just have God’s light of truth and no shadows in which you can hide – you’ll either accept God's light or die.

Matthew 13:6
And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

Accordingly the forty years in the desert was death for most of the Israelites.
In fact, forty days became the deathly forty years in the desert/wilderness.

Numbers 13:25
And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.

Numbers 14:29-35
Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me,
Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.
But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.
And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.
After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.
I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

Psalm 78:40
How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!

To be immortal, we need to overcome death.
In the Bible, death often is represented by forty days.  If we go forty days and nights without food, then even the most robust human will die.
Death to the living on earth came with forty days.

Genesis 7:4
For in seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

Death to Jacob (Israel):
Genesis 50:2-3
And Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father: and the physicians embalmed Israel.
And forty days were fulfilled for him; for so are fulfilled the days of those which are embalmed: and the Egyptians mourned for him threescore and ten days.

Moses, being a precursor of Christ…
Deuteronomy 18:15
   The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

…overcame death.
Exodus 34:28
And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water.

Jonah pronounced death over the people of Nineveh – in forty days.
Jonah 3:4
And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

But with repentance and fasting, the people of Nineveh defeated death.
Jonah 3:5-10
So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.
For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Mercifully, redemption came for the nihilistic Jonah and Elijah.
Christ, taking our death, turned that forty days (of no food leading to death) and overcame.

Luke 4:1-2
And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

And, Elijah’s spirit rested on Elisha.
2 Kings 2:15
And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha.

Accordingly, while the deathly gourd might have not worked out so well for Jonah, the deathly gourd turned around for a miracle from Elisha.
2 Kings 4:38-41
And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.
And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.
So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof.
But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot.

Immediately after, Elisha performed a similar miracle as a precursor of Christ’s miracle.
2 Kings 4:42-44
And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat.
And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof.
So he set it before them, and they did eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the LORD.

Luke 9:16-17
Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.
And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

Jesus named John the Baptist as having the spirit of Elijah.
Matthew 11:13-14
For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
And if ye will receive it, this is Elijah, which was for to come.

John the Baptist preached in the wilderness (desert) regarding our blade run.
Luke 3:4
As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Isaiah had prophesied that John the Baptist would say that all of us should be in a flat desert with nothing in it – as all we need is the Word of God.
Isaiah 40:3-8
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

The only shadow we need is from God.
Psalm 17:8
Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings…

Psalm 36:7
How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

Psalm 91:1
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Making straight the paths of the Lord, you might be a properly repentant Christian.
You know that Jesus took wounds that we might be healed.

1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

God gave us angels for protection.
Psalm 91:11-12
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

But, we know that, under the New Covenant (Testament), we are able to do greater than Jesus Christ –  commanding angels and binding the demonic.
John 14:12
   Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do;

Doing greater, we command even more angels than Jesus.
Matthew 26:53
Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

Mark 3:27
No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil (plunder) his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil (plunder) his house.

With the keys to heaven from Christ, we can bind (forbid) the demonic and loosen (permit) the angels.
Matthew 16:19
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Mark 16:17
   And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Luke 9:1
Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

We torment them before their time – sending them to the abyss.
Matthew 8:29
And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

Under the New Covenant, we can reply to God that, through Christ’s Almighty name, we indeed have the legal right and ability to bind the seven sisters of Pleiades and loosen fire upon attack ships off the shoulder of Orion.
Job 38:31
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

Amos 5:8
Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name

Matthew 18:18
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Accordingly, you bind the demonic of your physical ailments in the name of Jesus.  With proper faith, you not only curse your illness, but loosen the angels to aid you.
Aaaaaand… nothing happens.  You still have your physical infirmities.

Christ already tried healing all of us.  When he liberally gave out the healing, for most, the blade run ended.
Luke 17:12-19
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

(For most of you, after listening to his accent, your initial opinion of Kenneth Hagin is negative, due to your shared memories of Hollywood portrayals of southern-USA Bible belt people: bumbling, stupid, slow, inbred.)

With longsufferings and afflictions, only then can we build our character/personality/mind/soul to be that which can accept all of the love that God can give us.
2 Corinthians 1:5-7
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

Romans 8:17-18
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

That man was blind for so many years – so that the light of God’s love could be manifest in him.
John 9:1-7
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

With our physical ailments, our longsuffering for so many years, our dependence can properly be oriented towards not the world, but towards Jesus.  Like Bartimaeus, with our healthcare needs, we cry out towards the Son of David, Jesus.
Mark 10:46-49
And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.

Importantly, Bartimaeus was willing to cast away his garment, and be naked – getting rid of his old ‘good’ works.  Embarrassing.
Mark 10:50-52
And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Many charged Bartimaeus that he should hold his peace (be silent) – and be dignified, acting as a normal, respectable person.  But Bartimaeus, being afflicted for so many years, was oriented with repentance only towards Christ and wasn’t worried about appeasing the crowd.
Christ showed us that we should always pray for connection, and not to give up, not to lose heart, not to be discouraged.  This longsuffering will solidify our bonds with God.  Repeated and repeated petitions to God are necessary.

Luke 18:1-8
   And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
   And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Keep smiting:
2 Kings 13:18-19
And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.
And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

We see how our physical/soulish pleadings bleed over to the faith realm of the spiritual.
Our connection from the bodily to the spiritual exists via longsuffering.

You might, with a tongue of fire, and be able to torch your opponents as the Apostle Paul logically argued the validity of Christ.  But, in a cold world, you’ve run out of gas.  Like Elijah, you’re a flame-thrower who simply flamed out.
1 Kings 19:2-4
Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.
And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.
But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

Elijah relaxed under a juniper tree.  Why a juniper tree?  Because this exhausted flame-thrower needed heat.
In the Middle-East, juniper trees were an important source of firewood – and its wood made charcoal for intense heat.

Psalm 120:4
Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

The Hebrew term rethem or rothem has been translated “juniper”, but is a species of broom known as the white broom, Retama raetam.  This juniper ‘tree’ is actually a shrub or bush.
The stems provide fuel directly (burn the juniper) and are also converted to charcoal.
It made an important part of the fuel supply for Late Bronze and Iron Age copper smelting.

Accordingly, the angel strengthened Elijah with coal – for forty days.
1 Kings 19:5-8
And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.
And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.
And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.
And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

With the fire of the coals, we either are wheat or tares – that which burns to simple ashes (another boring person) – or something like gold, silver, jewels – that can slip on through to eternity.
Ezekiel 24:9-13
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.
Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the bronze of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed.
She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire.
In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.

As we speak our worlds into existence, only the fire of proper arguments will justify our speech.
Isaiah 6:5-7
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Fire will refine those who have something beyond that which will be simple ashes – and will burn the boring people to show them as simple ashes.
Romans 12:20
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

Immortality: creatures with fire and light.
Ezekiel 1:13
As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

But, being soulish, rather than spiritual, we don’t have that immortality with the flame of the coal.

Ezekiel 1:12-13
And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.
As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Why not?
Under the Old Covenant (Testament), the sacrifices of The Law never really changed a person’s nature.

Hebrews 10:11-12
And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
   But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Similarly, Elijah being given coal never changed Elijah’s nature.
Elijah was still nihilistic after being given the coal.

1 Kings 19:4-10
But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

Just like those lepers Jesus healed, if we are just given coal or manna from heaven, it doesn’t change our nature.  We don’t appreciate the gift.  We still focus on death.
Manna:

Exodus 16:14-15
And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.
And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.

Numbers 21:5
And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

To change our nature, we need to feed on the Word made flesh, and out of it become living epistles.
Deuteronomy 8:3
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

Titus 2:7-8
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

With the Word made flesh, Christ, we can achieve immortality.
Only with Christ in us, can we grasp immortality in light which would normally scorch us.

1 Timothy 6:15-16
   …who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

But the reality is that we live in a world like Elijah, not Moses.
We logically know that the coal’s flame will burn out – rather than the burning bush (with flame that did not consume the bush) that Moses observed.
As we ponder the facts of life, all of this is academic.  We know that the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long.

For immortality, we need to be like Melchisedec.
Melchisedec was and is immortal.

Hebrews 7:1-3
   For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
   To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

The Law which is perfect in itself – did not make us perfect.
Hebrews 7:19
For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Law with rules and then traditions might have ordered society, and held back corruption, but The Law never changed us.  Sin remains.
Hebrews 10:1-4
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

We need a New Covenant (beyond the Old Covenant) to change our sinful nature.
Hebrews 10:8-10
   Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

The sacrifice, the bodily offering of Jesus, established the Second/New Covenant.
With this bodily offering, our sinful nature can be changed, which the Old Covenant with The Law could not do.
As Blade Runners, we need a forerunner to show us the way forward – forward in time which is hope – an anchor for our soul.

Hebrews 6:19-20
   Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

We follow Christ with faithfaith being loyalty – an oath of commitment to Christ – and God commits to us.
Hebrews 6:16-18
For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us

With this commitment to take up our cross and follow Christ, we can be sanctified (being made saintly) – taking away sin, changing our nature.
Hebrews 10:11-17
And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
   But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
   This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

With this commitment, we overcome and find the hidden manna.
Revelation 2:17
To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna...

And God has made an oath that his Son, Jesus Christ, is of a nature that goes on and on – immortal – the order of Melchisedec.
Hebrews 7:20-22
And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:
(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

Sacrifice and offering by the Old Covenant – rules from The Law, would never create immortality.
Psalm 40:6
Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

We needed a change to The Law.
Hebrews 7:11-17
If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Accordingly, Christ did not become a high priest according to the Old Covenant (where king and priest were separate), but became an author of eternal salvation, immortality, to all who obey him (ideally us) – by kingly rule by obeying God as a Son, suffering to perfection, and priestly prayers and supplications.
Hebrews 5:5-10
So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
   Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
   Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
   And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

Thusly, we are to follow our forerunner Jesus and be of the nature of Melchisedec – a nature before the giving of The Law – a nature to which God has promised immortality.
Genesis 14:18-19
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth

We are to be of kingly and priestly nature (like Melchisedec).
We are to be both kings and priests – a royal priesthood.

1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood

Revelation 5:10
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

God’s oath commits immortality only to those who royally rule by obedience to God (as Jesus did in his earthly life) and with priestly supplications and prayers – offering not Old Covenant sacrifices and offerings, but the offering our forerunner Jesus made – our bodily selves – like Jesus on the cross.

For a new world order, the likes of Klaus Schwab and Elon Musk want you to have that brain implant – so you can be like Rachael with implanted memories – the Devil’s people who have an agreement, a connection, a Nexus for his society.
But, like Rachael, you don’t realize that you already have implanted memories from the machine.
Your attitude, position, opinion, conclusions about the beautiful woman have long been programmed into you – and you don’t even realize it.
The machine’s cultural product of ‘Playboy’ affirmed and repeatedly reaffirmed how your brain would consider/ponder/think about female beauty.  And you never even once thought about this.

Our shared memories of Playboy are of an enjoyable display of alluring forms – always however tinged with guilt.  Deployed media figures commenting on Playboy magazine and its associated products always brought the best weapon of Satan: guilt.  And we, like trained monkeys, are happy to, through our speech and fellowship, promulgate that guilt associated with her beauty.

(30 seconds in length)

Deckard: You're reading a magazine. You come across a fullpage nude photo of a girl.
Rachael: Is this testing whether I'm a replicant or a lesbian, Mr. Deckard?
Deckard: Just answer the questions, please. You show it to your husband. He likes it so much he hangs it on your bedroom wall.
Rachael: I wouldn't let him.
Deckard: Why not?
Rachael: I should be enough for him.

Even rebellious rockers, the J. Geils Band, with their number one hit ‘Centerfold’ moralized to us about the necessity of covering up the beauty of woman.  By 1981, the year of this hit single, this moralizing was common sense.
This song topped billboard charts, because its message reflected programmed, disseminated morals.

Lyrics:
“Years go by, I'm lookin' through a girly magazine
And there's my homeroom angel on the pages in between
My blood runs cold
My memory has just been sold
My angel is the centerfold
(Angel is the centerfold)”

Key to immortality is entering rest – a stable world of peace.
And Christians should want that goal.

Isaiah 32:17-18
And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
   And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

Implanted, shared memories from the machine include us wanting the newest Apple device on the Youtube ad, or colonizing the stars as depicted by Star Trek – or even that impassioned plea from the career politicians saying that we finally will help the downtrodden.
Since the Devil wants this world to go on and on (as he wants to avoid his condemnation in the lake of fire), our world always has to strive forward.
Accordingly, the Devil couldn’t have a people visualising the finish line – a sustainable, peaceful world.

2 Timothy 4:6-8
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Parents used to send their girls to girls’ sports – ballet, tap dancing, gymnastics floor exercise.
In these sports, the girls’ bodies were their projects – identifying problem areas and fixing them.  Appreciating and judging these sports were by the optics – a parallel of visual Grace – not like boys’ sports of outscoring an opponent (like baseball, football, rugby, basketball).
With the female sports, we see the goal of the beautified body of the bride of Christ being prepared to perfection – and conclusion.
In contrast, in male sports, the boys’ bodies are a tool or vehicle for a goal – get the row boat to the finish line faster – or score more touchdowns.
With normalised images of girls in basketball, rugby, soccer – the Devil has all of his people in agreement – move forward and forward and forward with no end – to Mars and beyond!

The light is blinding in the desert without shelter – and if someone suggested that you move to the Sahara desert to live, or if someone suggested that you live in the North Pole – you’d say he was crazy.   You’d say that you need some sort of plan on how to survive.  (Without God’s grace in miracle form – you’ll die quickly.)
What if that someone said that we should dedicate our life’s goals to living there – as it will be amazing – especially if there’s no oxygen to breathe there.
You’d say that person is crazy, as there’s nothing in inhospitable environments.  Even if we could survive, we’d tear each other apart even more than on earth.
But when Elon Musk suggests this – everyone agrees.  He can only sell this silliness with our shared memories.

With implanted memories from the space-fantasy tv show ‘Lost in Space’ (1965-68) and sci-fi blockbuster ‘The Black Hole’ from Disney (1979) – we of course know that our destiny is in space.
We don’t talk about how aerospace technology has ebbed out.  We don’t talk about how the US space shuttle and the International Space Station eventually existed to justify each other.  We don’t talk about how technologically, jetliner travel in current year is about the same as jetliner travel in 1980.  (But now we have travel restrictions from authoritarian regimes.)
Why would we think that we can travel to Mars and beyond when we can’t even get to the local Taco Bell?
Elon Musk says that we can colonize other planets.  It’s on his Twitter page.  He has some nice photoshopped images of terraforming planets into habitable worlds – which bring shared memories of the ‘Genesis Device’ from Star Trek’s ‘The Wrath of Khan’ (1982) – and similar terraforming devices in ‘Aliens’ (1986) and ‘Total Recall’ (1990).   Computer generated graphics showed how we could create habitable worlds – so of course it’s going to happen.

Similarly, the ‘Black Panther’ movie (2018) showed us how we could create a new country called Wakanda based on that current year’s values.  So of course it can be done.
Again, Lynda Carter as network television’s Wonder Woman (1975-79) showed us that if we just embraced those progressive values that everywhere would be like the paradise of her home: Paradise Island.   As viewers remember in a shared sense – the baddies were always defeated on this show.  So, like them, we just have to follow the script from Hollywood and the political elites.  Say it with me: “Build back better.”

In more recent times, your shared memories concern the normality and common sense of reducing the amount of meat that we eat.  Television commercials cheering the sensibility of synthetic meat and soy products shape our moralizing conversations at the workplace.
1 Timothy 4:1-5
   Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
   Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Even if you stand in opposition to the new veganism – the guilt regarding cute animals (energized by viral cute animal videos from the machine) will prey on your mind.
Even lovers of hamburgers would be reluctant to sacrifice as high priest Aaron.
(In our digital world disconnected from the material, lunch meat comes from funny shaped cans in aisle four at the supermarket.)

Exodus 29:10-18
And thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock.
And thou shalt kill the bullock before the LORD, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger, and pour all the blood beside the bottom of the altar.
And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul that is above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.
But the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin offering.
Thou shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.
And thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take his blood, and sprinkle it round about upon the altar.
And thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and wash the inwards of him, and his legs, and put them unto his pieces, and unto his head.
And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt offering unto the LORD: it is a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

In previous times, you were concerned about carcinogenic cleaning products and the dangers of removing good bacteria.  But nowadays you adhere to promoted cleaning protocols from the machine for the latest virus variant.
To get by in this world, your agreement will always have to be a connection – Nexus Six from the machine – a mind/speech agreement to God, but not from the heart.
Cleaning: we are perfect, just don’t look beyond the surface.

Mark 7:2-9
And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.
Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Not in the heart – therefore no root:
Matthew 15:8-13
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

All of us would like to think that we are original, with unique solutions for the world – that we are a hero who can save the day.  But the reality is that we are subject to the croaks from the machine – and we don’t even know it.  We are another talking head spouting silliness from the machine – terraforming the world with people conveniently fitting into labels, rather than being their authentic, unique selves.
The only way that we can break free of the machine’s croaks – where we champion another woman breaking barriers in a white hardhat – is by breaking any traditions we have, being born again, and being rooted into a proper new reality.

Hellfire greets the dead.
Matthew 5:22
Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Mark 9:43-44
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Similar to invulnerability to death for those who have already died with Christ – we are immune to fire if we are already human torches.
Mark 9:49
For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

Deuteronomy 5:26
For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

The flaming sword cannot burn that which is already on fire.
Making our way back to the tree of life:

Genesis 3:24
So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

For immortality, we need fire.  But, as Blade Runners, so many times, we burn out and we cannot endure until the end.
Matthew 24:13
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

To endure unto the end, we need to keep our flame alive.  For that we need fuel – but not coal which will extinguish.  But we need a continuous source of fuel.  We need to be grafted into that source of fuel for our fire.

After the deathly forty days of the Great Flood, the Bible introduces the olive as a symbol of life after death.
Genesis 8:11
And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

In Biblical times, candles gave flame and light by being fed with oil.
Exodus 39:37
The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light…

The flaming candlesticks – the church people who are the light of the world, need continuously to be fed oil to keep the flame going.
Revelation 1:20
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

The oil comes from the olive tree – in this case two olive trees.
Zechariah 4:2-3
And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

In this case, the two olive trees are men of God providing revelation.
Zechariah 4:12-14
And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Rather than the juniper giving coal which will exhaust – for immortality, we need a flame that will not burn out – from the olive tree.

Many Christians undervalue the Old Covenant (Testament) by saying that we are not under The Law, but under the New Covenant (Testament).
Romans 6:14
…for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Saying that we are under the New, rather than the Old, is correct, but to undervalue the Old is folly.
The Jews (those of the circumcision):

Romans 3:1-2
What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

To the Jews has God committed his oracles (alternative translations of ‘oracles’ are: his message, his word, his utterances).
Psalm 147:19-20
He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.

Romans 9:4-5
   Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

Deuteronomy 4:7-8
For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?
And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

In fact, the world’s people need what the Jewish have – for fuel for the flame.
That is, we need to be grafted into the Jewish people’s root (as branches) – so that the light does not scorch us.

Romans 11:16
For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

For fuel for our flame, we need that continuous fuel of the olive tree – like those candlesticks from Biblical times.
Romans 11:17-24
   And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

But what does being ‘grafted into the olive tree’ from a ‘wild olive tree’ actually mean?
Memories.  You're talking about memories.

The Jewish people are the natural branches.  Their memories are about the festivals of the Old Testament.  To them, knowing about the difference between and symbology of leavened bread versus unleavened bread is normal, natural.  Even the Jewish people who are not very ‘Orthodox’ are comfortable with meanings of the various parts of Moses’ tabernacle.
For the rest of us, we have to be grafted into this olive tree.
If we are Greek – Greek philosophy or even our grandparents’ concepts of the ‘evil eye’ are not of value.
If we are Native American – the history of the totem pole is not of value.
If we are Nordic – our history of troll dolls is not of value.

For the rest of us, we need to study that which is unfamiliar to our culture, that which is likely uncomfortable, God’s beachhead of attack into this world – the Jewish culture of the Old Testament (Covenant).
And we are grafted in.  That is, we bring our life, our experiences, to that which has been given to the land of Israel.
For example, the Jews know very well the idea and rituals of the Passover.

Exodus 12:21-22
Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

For immortality, we have a Passover – that is, the destroyer will pass over us.
Exodus 12:23
For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

Similarly, those in Christ learn about the blood of Christ, with a pass over from the death angel – necessitating acknowledgement of the Old Testament.
Hebrews 9:14-15
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Romans 5:9-10
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

When you have a pass over in life, by repeatedly proclaiming the protection you have in Christ on a scriptural basis, you consider/ponder/meditate upon that which might not be familiar to your culture – that which is of the Jews.
For instance, as a Blade Runner, you might have had a pass over from The Law:

(28 seconds in length)

Cop: This sector's closed to ground traffic. What are you doing here?
Deckard: I'm working. What are you doing?
Cop: Arresting you. That's what I'm doing.
Deckard: I'm Deckard. Blade Runner. Two sixty three-fifty four. I'm filed and monitored.
Cop: Hold on. Checking. – Okay, checked and cleared. Have a better one.

For the Jewish people, struggling with issues of The Law has been natural.
Many of the children of Israel instantiate their identity as Jews by adhering to The Law.  But many Jews do not feel the need to do so.
For the rest of us, we enter a world that Israelites already know – for example: debating dietary Law.

Romans 14:1-3
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Romans 14:6
He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

With new memories of the Old Testament, all of us, like Jews, struggle with issues of how to act – eschewing guilt, but acknowledging that others may be grieved with issues of violation of The Law.
Romans 14:15
But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

Our goal is love for fellowship.  We are not striving to condemn our brothers, but to edify.
Romans 14:17-22
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

As we ponder on The Law, we prioritize faith.
Romans 14:23
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

We bear the weak to edify our neigbours.
Romans 15:1-2
We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

Revelation 18:2-4
And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

As all nations drink of the false god of Babylon – with its robotics, its cryptocurrencies, its health regime of Covid cleanliness, its vaccines, its depopulation agenda, its financial reset – we need to abandon ship!
Jeremiah 51:9
We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

We need to abandon the memories of Lysol saving from the latest virus variant, and the memories about how fatties are the new normal.
By considering/thinking about/pondering/contemplating The Law, we can be grafted into that which is unfamiliar – the culture and memories of the Old Covenant – which is the olive tree, a tree of life.

Psalm 1:2-3
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

John 15:1-6
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

In contrast, those who are not grafted in with a root are blown around by the whims of the Devil’s machine.  If the medical tyranny wants us to social distance by wearing garbage bags – that is our Babylon, and her lovers will revel in it.
Psalm 1:4
The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

No anchor of hope for the soul – but subject to the whims of the machine:
Hosea 13:3
Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.

Isaiah 17:13
The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

Psalm 35:5-6
Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.

With the winds of change, the flame of the wicked is blown out.
Job 21:17-18
How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger.
They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.

To be immortal, we need to connect to the burning bush that Moses saw – a fire that did not burn out.  This fire that burns on and on is our spirit to Spirit connection with God.
Revelation 4:5
And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Judges 15:14
…and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.

Life from the Spirit:
Job 33:4
The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

Revelation 11:11
And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Life from the spirit pulls us back from death.
Isaiah 38:16-18
O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

For immortality, we need to learn to distinguish between the soulish and the spiritual.
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

We will never defeat death if we remain in the soulish/physical/carnal/fleshly nature.
We must cultivate going beyond eat, sleep, consume, pride, greed, worry, moodiness, etc.  We cultivate spiritual sacrifice, support of the weak, temperance, mercy, forgiveness – starting in this world as corruptible, but leaving as heavenly – connected to the example of the last/second Adam that is Christ, who is a life giving spirit – willing to give everything up for his fellow man on the cross.

1 Corinthians 15:42-49
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening (life giving) spirit.
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

The spirit of God gives life to the soul.
Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The Hebrew word for ‘soul’ is nephesh.  Like so many basic Hebrew words, ‘nephesh’ sounds as what it is.  The soul/nephesh/life is about breathing; the pronunciation: ‘nay-fesh’ sounds like breathing – in and out.
In these last days, as God divides the sheep and goats, the wheat and tares – a face masked world will ask for breathing.  Those of Holden’s nature, the letter of The Law, tradition, will be linked to the machine for the breath of life.  Give it to Holden.  He’s good.
(The spirit provides the soul with breath.  In the Old Testament’s original Hebrew language, the word ‘ruach’ translates to three English words: breath, spirit, and wind.)
He can breathe okay as long as nobody unplugs him.  But that’s not good enough.  The nature of Holden will succumb to the world’s tradition and rules – the legalism – and be tied to the machine.  (Only with our life/breathing linked to the spirit – the magic – can we defeat death – overcoming a face mask world.)
To be focused on the soulish/carnal/physical/fleshly is death.

Romans 8:2-6
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

We need to be able see that, in church, so much is soulish (manipulating us via psychological techniques): the feel-good songs, the pulpit speeches which reach crescendos, the personalities putting themselves forward as heroes, the light, teary piano music, and painted-on pious faces.  The attitude of worship is absent.
And there’s so much legalism in church and in the world.  Rules have their place in life, but they will never make you righteous in the eyes of God.
Soulish adherence to The Law – following the letter of The Law, the rules – is death.  We must cultivate our spiritual instantiation of The Law – us as living epistles of The Law.

Romans 7:5-6
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

We must cultivate NOT adhering to our common sense.
Proverbs 16:25
There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 12:15
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

And so much of being spiritual is endurance – that loyalty to finish the race that is faith.
Galatians 6:8-9
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

God came to this world as a builder.
Genesis 1:21
And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Hebrews 11:10
For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

God came in human form as a carpenter.
Matthew 13:55
Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?

And mankind is in God’s image.
Genesis 9:6
…for in the image of God made he man.

And God expects us to build.
Zechariah 4:9
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

But we are to ‘take heed’ – that is, build carefully.
1 Corinthians 3:10
According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

When we take heed – we have to distinguish between the soulish and the spiritual.
The sword of the spirit divides the soul and the spirit.
By learning more and more about the Word of God, and as we move along the tribulations of the path that the Holy Spirit guides us – we divide the soulish and spiritual in our life.

Ephesians 6:17
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

What is our enemy?  Hypocrisy.
When we build a house, we use proper construction methods, so that the project doesn’t fall down.
Matthew 7:24-27
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

We take heed:
Luke 14:28-30
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

And life, our quest, is about building you through life experiences, through speaking our world into existence, and through fellowship.
And, in the end, your book should show that you built a thriving society (including the building project that is you) – rather than built that which will fall down.  This is immortality.
The soulish (fleshly/physical/carnal) does not lead to immortality – but the spiritual quickens (gives life).
John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

As we learn to distinguish between the soulish and the spiritual (dividing them via the sword of the Spirit), we become immortal – building ourselves and society that survives and thrives.
Building a house upon sand that falls down when tested by the storm is hypocritical to the concept of a house.  Your house should stand and be a home for you and your family.
Starting to build a tower and then running out of funds is hypocritical to the concept of a tower.  A tower that doesn’t reach to the sky is not a tower.
Similarly, when we cleave to the soulish, we are hypocritical to the concept of life, as the soulish brings death.
Our competitive world of the soulish (which contrasts the spiritual of giving up all for your fellow man) creates envy and strife – then earthly/sensual/devilish/soulish.
James 3:14-15
But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

Hypocritical positions lead to confusion.
James 3:16-17
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Soulishly, we might say something like: “Suspend the politicians’ salaries until they fix the lockdown situation.”  This might curry the favour of the people, but (beyond saying this as a flippant joke) will never realistically help build society.  Spiritually, we realize that we need to pray for proper leadership to direct society properly.
Soulishly, we might debate the issue of raising the minimum wage.  We then enter discussions of whether a certain wage level is appropriate for urban versus rural areas – discussions regarding small business surviving, and how labour is incentivized versus being de-incentivized from wage levels.  And of course then we talk about inflation, and central banks printing and borrowing money.  This discussion simply will not create immortality, as we are yoking ourselves to that fleshly/physical/carnal/soulish that will rise and fall as empires do.
Yes all this talk of wealth through real estate, the stock market, crypto currencies, or gold might bring prosperity for a while – but this soulish system will fall.

Rather than wasting our time trying to get zeroes in our online accounts – spiritually, we should be seeking first the kingdom of God, and that which we need God provides.
Matthew 6:31-33
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Soulishly, your best strategy to survive and thrive (temporarily) is to be not too controversial.  Curry favour at the workplace, or grow your business – by going with the flow.  Censor yourself so that, if you are controversial, you will appease your political tribe.  Don’t stray too far from those on your side of the political aisle.  But, as we all are seeing society fall, your self and your expressions (speech, projects, art, energy) will fall with society.
Job 20:5
That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

Job 27:8
For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?

If you had found and cultivated the spiritual, you would be anything but a lukewarm person inside that Overton window of acceptability.
Revelation 3:15-16
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

And, as the fire of the Lord burns you, your hypocrisy leads to your death.
That is, the logical arguments of God (to which you answer as you give an account of yourself on the day of judgement) will point out that the you that you have built (via your free will) is like a house built on sand.
The you that you have built says that women in men’s job roles is amazing!
Why, with our shared memories, everyone else says the same thing.  It’s common sense.

But God would logically point out how both men and women in the workplace only lowers real wages, inflates the cost of housing (as business owners invest their profits in the housing market) – which benefits no one.  And now society is a death cult, as women in the workplace have difficulty managing job and having children – and we are all eating processed, unhealthy food as we don’t have time to cook properly.  And God would say that this ‘women in the workplace’ is an integral part of who you are, as you yoked yourself to this ideology.  This hypocrisy of society (like a house built on sand) is your hypocrisy.  The you that you cultivated cannot stand the test of fire.

Lamentations 4:11
The LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof.

Proverbs 11:9
An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

In contrast, the person who distinguished between the soulish and the spiritual cannot be thrown into the lake of fire – because the testing fire of inquisitive arguments do not burn the proper Christian.
Revelation 20:15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

1 Corinthians 3:12-15
   Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

If we are politically incorrect, and overcome the false gods of this world:
Revelation 21:7
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

In contrast, those who fear being opposed to the soulish – the fearful, lead the way to the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Isaiah 33:14
The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

Our nature inherited from Adam and Eve is that of corruption – our rebellion towards spiritual connection to God, a disconnection resulting in our physical decay over time leading to death.
Genesis 3:3
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

To be immortal, we need new seed – life replacing our rebellious nature inherited from Adam and Eve.
1 Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

With the rebellious seed of our fathers, we were conceived in iniquity (rebellion).
Psalm 51:5
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Life comes from fathers.
Jesus’ nature – our saviour’s nature, came not from the inheritance of Adam – but from the seed of God placed in Mary.

Matthew 1:20
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Luke 1:34-35
Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

For immortality, it’s a rather difficult magic trick to be born again – that is – get another ‘seed’ in us after we have already been born.
John 3:4-5
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

But, that is our quest.
1 Peter 1:23
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

This ‘seed’ in 1 Peter 1:23 is ‘spora’ – sperm.
For conception, sperm meets ovary.  And, genetically, we have the rebellious (iniquity) nature of our fathers.
How can we have a new seed – sperm – incorruptible, beyond corruption, therefore immortal?  How can we receive that?  By the Word of God.
Right now, you see the Word of God printed on the page.
And we can look at commandments, lists, and rules, and we can algorithmically respond to that which we read.
Therefore, don’t lie.  All liars go to the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Don’t deceive.  Be an honest person.
Exodus 20:16
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

But Rahab lied to her King in order to hide the two spies from Joshua.
Joshua 2:3-6
And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.
And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:
And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.
But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.

Samuel deceived to go out.
1 Samuel 16:2-5
And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD.
And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.
And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?
And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.

And Jehu outflanked the worshippers of Baal by deception.  Jehu pretended that he was also a Baal worshipper.
2 Kings 10:18-28
And Jehu gathered all the people together, and said unto them, Ahab served Baal a little; but Jehu shall serve him much.
Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtilty, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.
And Jehu said, Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.
And Jehu sent through all Israel: and all the worshippers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was full from one end to another.
And he said unto him that was over the vestry, Bring forth vestments for all the worshippers of Baal. And he brought them forth vestments.
And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said unto the worshippers of Baal, Search, and look that there be here with you none of the servants of the LORD, but the worshippers of Baal only.
And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without, and said, If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.
And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal.
And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal, and burned them.
And they brake down the image of Baal, and brake down the house of Baal, and made it a draught house unto this day.
Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.

Similarly Joshua deceived on the battlefield.
Joshua 8:4-7
And he commanded them, saying, Behold, ye shall lie in wait against the city, even behind the city: go not very far from the city, but be ye all ready:
And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them,
(For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first: therefore we will flee before them.
Then ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize upon the city: for the LORD your God will deliver it into your hand.

Following The Law is for the sinner.
1 Timothy 1:8-11
   But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
   For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

Robots receive instructions and algorithmically react to situational input.
Animals receive stimulus and instinctively give response.
Soulishly, we also can read the Bible and through our mind/soul/consciousness react and follow the written words to be a good person.
But this is falling short of the mark – the definition of sin.
Isaiah 29:13
Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men

We are to be living epistles of the Word.  Paul’s legacy wasn’t the written Word on physical paper of his epistles to the churches.  Paul’s legacy was the creation of living epistles of men’s hearts.
2 Corinthians 3:2-3
Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in fleshy tablets of the heart.

1 Corinthians 1:5-6
   That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;
Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you

Romans 2:29
…and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Jews following The Law should transform that which is on paper into living examples in one’s unique life.
Ezekiel 20:11
And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.

God sent Spirit-led men to write the Bible, but God had to send a person to adequately consolidate what we pursue.
The kingdom of God is within Christians – the seed of the Word manifesting in you.
Luke 17:21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

The kingdom of God wouldn’t be anything without a King – Christ in you.

To not fall short of the mark, the definition of sin, we must bring The Law and scripture to a new level, the spiritual, as we are to be living epistles.
2 Corinthians 3:6
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

For example, The Law gives us laws, rules, the letter of the law regarding land ownership.
Deuteronomy 19:14
Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour's landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.

Leviticus 25:15-17
According to the number of years after the jubile thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:
According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.
Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God.

And, in countries built on Judeo-Christian values, your jurisdiction has land ownership laws derived from Mosaic Law.
Where you live has landmarks on the map held by City Hall.  To not ‘oppress one another,’ construction on this land can only occur between, let’s say 7am and 7pm.
But the letter of The Law kills, and the Spirit gives life.
As we have all seen, as society decays, people might stick to the letter of these laws, but use loopholes to oppress.

Your neighbour might have marked his property properly – and only builds his new home within 7am to 7pm.  But your neighbour, to cut costs, doesn’t spend on protective fencing, and spews the chemicals of construction onto your home.  “Okay, the wind might blow a bit to your property – but that happens.”  And local laws aren’t going to entirely cover what is and what is not reasonable refuse from construction – grey areas in the laws.  But your neighbour, who has previously enriched himself by renting slums to gullible young students at high rates (but all within the local laws) – now has the financial muscle to pay lawyers – and thus do as he pleases.
As we all adhere to the letter of The Law, we eventually tear each other apart.  The only hope for society is to identify and eschew the soulish and pursue the spiritual.

With a reconnection to God spiritually, the spirit gives life for immortality.
To not fall short of the mark, we, in our quest, need to press forward towards our goal.
What is our goal?
Our goal is to create love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 16:14
Let all your things be done with love.

Those of The Law (Jews – the circumcision) and not of The Law (Gentiles, the rest of the world, the uncircumcision) apply the perfect outworking of The Law in man (that is, Jesus Christ) – expressed in love.
Galatians 5:2-6
Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

We are to take that which we have: The Law, and all of the Word of God, and not algorithmically adhere to rules (the soulish).  We are to do much, much better because we are to be spiritual.
Psalm 119:15-16
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall always be on your lips; thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Mark 2:27
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath

Freedom:
Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

As we use The Law to create love, this love is not some sappy garbage from the latest Hollywood formulaic movie.  Our love is far more complex and multifaceted.
For immortality, we move beyond soulish mind faith – which is simply following rules and traditions with our head.  We need heart faith.  To inherit the kingdom, we need to make Jesus the King of our hearts.
Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:9-11
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

To get Christ in our heart, we need to drink his blood and feed on his flesh.
John 6:47-58
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
I am that bread of life.
Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

We drink on living water leading to everlasting life.
John 4:10-14
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

The Word worked out in real life results in Christ – a man of perfect love.
John 1:14-17
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

If we take the words spoken in the Gospel, and the life of the man consolidating the Bible, we inherit eternal life.
John 6:68
Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

How do we do this?  Communion – the Lord’s Supper.

Jesus desired fellowship through eating and drinking with his disciples before he suffered.  And Jesus linked the fulfillment of the kingdom of God with having that fellowship.
Luke 22:14-20
And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

In the book of Acts, our only record of the new church of the New Testament, breaking bread for fellowship was necessary and important.
Acts 2:42-47
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
   And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their food with gladness and singleness of heart,
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Acts 20:7
And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

Acts 27:34-38
Wherefore I pray you to take some food: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.
And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.
Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some food.
And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls.
And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.

1 Corinthians 11:33
Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.

We are to walk in the light, and have proper relationships through proper fellowship.
1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

For immortality, we need to fit into the kingdom of God.
For proper fellowship, proper relationships with each other, we need to be fitly framed together – proper networks with people, not networks with the strength of a spider’s web.
Ephesians 2:21-22
In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

We are knitted together in love.
Colossians 2:2
   That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

For heaven coming to earth, thy kingdom come – Christ wants us to have liberty, true freedom.
What is freedom?
Freedom, liberty is being able to do what you like.
We don’t have some authority over us with power telling us what to do.
In contrast, Satan’s people have a powerful authority over them telling them what to do.  And, to be like God, Satan needs to control and monitor his people.
With lockdown rules and surveillance, we can see Satan preparing his people.
God’s people break out of the whore of Babylon with her false gods.
Jeremiah 51:6-7
Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.
Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

Important to us breaking out of the Devil’s world is proper fellowship.

You might be young, healthy, vibrant.  Or you might be old and feeble with infirmities.
Regardless, you are in a prison of your own body.
That is, you have to look out for yourself.  You have to look out for ‘number one.’
Your soul desires food, shelter, and pleasure for your bodily wants and needs.
Only with Christ truly in us in our hearts can we truly transcend our own self-centeredness – as contained in our body, and build proper bridges of fellowship towards others.  Only with Christ in us can we truly say:

Acts 20:35
…remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Only when our considerations/ponderings/thoughts are outside our own bodies/selves are we beyond the fleshly body which decays over time.  With our considerations beyond a body that will die – we are truly immortal.
What is the opposite?  What is death?  It is the nature of the accuser.  With the nature of the accuser, we do consider beyond our body – but we cultivate hate to tear down rather than love to edify, as we pile sins on the other person, never examining ourselves in the mirror to compare ourselves to Christ’s standard – the only standard that matters.

God’s people are to have proper relationships with each other.
You are to have right relationships with Jim, Lucas, Sally, Oman, Gary, Linda, Oswego, Erin, Zack, Charlene, etc.

Colossians 4:7-11
All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:
   Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;
With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you.    They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.
Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.

2 Timothy 4:19-21
Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.
Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.
Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.

So important is fellowship.
Luke 16:8-9
And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.

Mark 12:30-31
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

In fact, God doesn’t want mankind to have an earthly king, or president or prime minister.
1 Samuel 8:10-18
And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that asked of him a king.
And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.
And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots.
And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers.
And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants.
And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants.
And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work.
He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.
And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.

Ideally, for liberty, God wants us to exist with a network or web of relationships to each other – not top down authority.
Judges 21:24-25
And the children of Israel departed thence at that time, every man to his tribe and to his family, and they went out from thence every man to his inheritance.
In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

God wants our authority to not be a king, but to be God himself.
We are to not be like ‘other nations,’ the world.

1 Samuel 8:4-7
Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah,
And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.
And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

1 Samuel 10:19
And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us.

With kings, we do have to submit to their authority.
1 Samuel 12:12-14
And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us: when the LORD your God was your king.
Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold, the LORD hath set a king over you.
If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God

As the Devil prepares his own people with lockdowns and surveillance, those of the Devil enjoy the free-money welfare and control of their relationships (with whom you can socialize due to virus variant fear).
(In contrast, God’s people want to work for themselves to develop proper fellowship.)
In fact, the people wanted to make Jesus an earthly king because he filled their bellies with food – a welfare of sorts.

John 6:11-15
And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

John 6:26
Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

And, as we’ve seen through history, kings and all human authority limit the freedom of the people.
1 Kings 12:11
And now whereas my father did lade you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father hath chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

What happened so that our human, earthly authority became so corrupted?
We did the most dangerous act that we could do.  We fell in love with the most precarious, risky behaviour we could possibly perform.  What is this spawn of Satan himself to which we devote ourselves?  We offered to help.

Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

When we learn of good and evil, of course, our first act is to spot evil, and help our fellow man towards good.  (That evil certainly is not in us.)
Our fellowship is not with unleavened bread, but puffed up bread – as we are puffed up, seeing ourselves as that new hero.
For immortality, we only have a Passover from the death angel when we break bread in an unleavened (not prideful) way for proper fellowship.

Matthew 26:17
Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?

When people enter Christianity, or any realm of ideology, everyone wants to move to the front and become a pastor or a teacher.
Matthew 23:5-8
But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your teacher, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

Leavened bread and unleavened bread:
Matthew 23:11-12
But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Exodus 12:20
Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.

Leavened bread is puffed up like we puff up with arrogance.
1 Corinthians 4:18-19
Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.

James 3:1
My brethren, be not many teachers, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Do you want to do and teach good such as: saving a life and dedicating the best of the best to God?
Great – you can end up like King Saul who lost his kingship, condemned by God.

1 Samuel 15:3,9,17-21
Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
…But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
…And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?
And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.
Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?
And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.

King Saul wanted to do good.  And his people also wanted to do good.
1 Samuel 15:24
And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

Key to liberty for all is restraint.
King David had two chances to kill King Saul (who was trying to kill David), but restrained himself.

1 Samuel 24:3-7
And he came to the sheepcotes by the way, where was a cave; and Saul went in to cover his feet: and David and his men remained in the sides of the cave.
And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe privily.
And it came to pass afterward, that David's heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt.
And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD'S anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD.
So David stayed his servants with these words, and suffered them not to rise against Saul.

1 Samuel 26:7-9
So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him.
Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time.
And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD'S anointed, and be guiltless?

The right to rule is always by raw power.  But whoever has that raw power is a danger to everyone – including their true freedom, unless that man is restrained from using that power.
Proverbs 17:27-28
He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.
Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.

Psalm 103:8-9
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

But, invariably, with our prideful knowledge of good and evil, we give up our liberty, and return to bondage by exalting human leaders who will certainly have the answers.
Nehemiah 9:16-17
But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments,
And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.

As we work out true freedom in our lives, bringing heaven to earth, we are not subject to The Law which puts us to death.  We are immortal.
Romans 8:1-2
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

As we become more sensible and logical with routines, budgeting and retirement planning, not only are we in a prison of our own body, we are a prisoner of time.
Not only is living in Godly abundance silliness to our fleshly, soulish mindset…

Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Deuteronomy 14:26
And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household

…but living beyond our years on earth is silliness to our fleshly, soulish mindset.
Our logic, our rationality with our implanted memories from science class and economics class is about limited resources including fuel and time.  Our brain implant insists that the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long.  The facts of life with certainty lead to death.
Key to breaking out of time – our limited lifespan – is hope.
Faith is in the present – a substance. Substance is an underlying basis or foundation.

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

But hope – being for the future, is only valid if it is linked to your present faith.
This hope for that which is not seen brings patience.

Romans 8:24-25
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Abraham broke out of time as his hope did not consider his old, dead body, or his wife’s deadness – and his faith pushed forward with hope – defeating the barrier of death.
Romans 4:18-21
Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:
   He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

We continue with our faith in the present, stretching our faith forward towards hope.
Colossians 1:23
   If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Hope is our soul’s anchor:
Hebrews 6:19
   Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

As we move in our quest towards perfection – it is a quest towards Christ, specifically, Christ revealed in us.  In our quest, we discover and unravel this mystery which has been hidden for ages – which is our unique selves, not some simple dust and ashes.
Colossians 1:26-29
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

We labour, we strive for this goal – looking forward with hope.
Hebrews 6:11-12
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

What is the goal?  Rest.
We have grace by no longer working.

1 Peter 1:13
   Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

We labour to enter into this rest.  We labour to cease from our own works.
Hebrews 4:8-11
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

We have grace to be saved by enduring with patience to the end.
Hebrews 3:6
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

We are not shaken, immovable – even immortal with the Lord at our right hand – as we rest in hope knowing that we are not going to be left in hell.
Psalm 16:8-10
I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

We all have plans in life.  We might apply for a job, or try to start a business, or plan to go to a certain school and study a subject and then financially budget what we can spend and where we might live.
But only when we break away from those plans – the expected traditions, rules, and letter of the law in our life, do we grow with unlimited potential – beyond anything that can be written down.  Unprepared, off the beaten track, when we do the unpopular and unplanned, we have potential to do the amazing.

Romans 2:29
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

How does this happen?  When our plans fail.  When we have heart-break from our plans falling apart.
With a broken heart can our character/personality/mind be spiritually connected to God, crying out for Grace.
With startling, new possibilities beyond what were plans acceptable to our community and our world – only then can have an enlarged heart to accept all the love God has for us.

Deuteronomy 30:6
And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

God has an abundance of love to give us.  But his love has to be put into our heart – beyond any compliance to God just soulishly through the mind.  And, to accept more and more of the love of God, we have to enlarge our heart.
Ephesians 3:17-19
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
   May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Faith is counted as righteousness.  We are justified through faith (justified: just as if we never sinned).
Romans 5:1-2
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

We move into this grace – and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Hope brings patience and endurance.

1 Thessalonians 1:3
   Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

Romans 12:12
   Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

We have to extend our faith forward in time, in our quest, via hope.
Romans 5:2-5
…and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
   And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is poured out into our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Our rejoicing in the hope of the glory of God – means us also glorying in tribulations – to bring more patience, experience, and hope.  Only with that built and tested character/soul/personality (testing via endurance through tribulations) can we accept all the love God has to give us.  We rejoice in these tests that build our resulting character.
We are more than conquerors – that is, we have more when we overcome tribulation than when we started in tribulation.

Romans 8:35-37
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

God’s love doesn’t bring us a quest of boredom, with the same routine tasks and experiences over and over again.  To create the people that we are to be, God wants us to experience the full complexity of life: compassion, horror, bliss, triumph, repulsion, sympathy, chaos, disorientation, thoughtfulness, serendipity, etc, etc.
By rejoicing in our troubles…

2 Corinthians 6:4-7
But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
   In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

…we can move in all spheres – honour and dishonour, and everything in between.
– deception and truth, unknown and known, dying and living, sorrowful and rejoicing, poor and rich – and everything in between.

2 Corinthians 6:8-10
   By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
   As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Titus 1:15
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

But for this love of God which is going to allow our complex quest, cobbling us out to be his detailed, complex people – we have to enlarge our hearts.
2 Corinthians 6:11
O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.

God likens our heart to genitals.
With sexual love, a man receives more sexual pleasure when the foreskin is pulled back or circumcised.

Jeremiah 4:4
Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart…

Of course, without the shield of the foreskin, a man is more sensitive to not only pleasure, but also injury.
Deuteronomy 10:16
Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

But we have to go through the losses of life to appreciate the wins.
To see the world in brilliant, vibrant color, with all of its beauty, we will also encounter disturbing ugliness up close in high-definition resolution.

How do you examine yourself in the mirror of the Word?
You have to ever more clearly see God face to face like Moses did.
How do you see like Moses?
Remove the veil.

2 Corinthians 3:12-18
Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech—
unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away.
But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.
But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Revelation 22:4
And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

How do you remove the veil?  Christ being in you and you in Christ.
Colossians 2:9-10
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power

How are you united to Christ?  By going through the furnace of testing fires – the tribulations.
Hebrews 2:9-10
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Hebrews 11:36-38
And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
   They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
(Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

In the fiery furnace of affliction, God refines us.  (Untried, untested silver or gold had no recognized value.)
Proverbs 25:4
Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.

When the silversmith refined the silver (to remove the impurities – the dross), as the silversmith skimmed the surface of the last of the dross, he knew that the silver was pure when he could see his own face reflected in the silver.  When God sees himself reflected in us, we are perfected.
1 John 3:2-3
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Malachi 3:2-3
But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Job 23:10
But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

For us, so much of life and success in life is about slipping into comfort and routines.  We aspire and perhaps even achieve our career and life goals.  You might have a comfortable home and job – or be seeking that through education and apprenticeships.  You want to be best plumber (or tailor, or chef, or painter, or academic, or hobbyist, or activist) you can be!  You saw the Grand Canyon, backpacked through Europe, and swam with dolphins.
But when calamity occurs, and your job is gone, or the economy collapses, or you become handicapped in an accident, or you succumb to disease – you can no longer hide in the shadows as a label adhering to the routines of the world.
With disaster in your life, you can finally look at yourself in a true sense – by questioning who you truly are – finally seeing yourself as something other than a cog in the wheels of the systems of the world.  You are no longer the familiar you that you knew – that successful, healthy accountant or teacher or workout enthusiast.  As you look at yourself in a new way, your common sense (from your familiar world) no longer applies.

Job 3:11-12
Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?
Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?

Job 10:1-2
My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; show me why you contend with me.

For heaven to come to earth, we have to be immortal and defeat death.
1) We have to triumph over nihilistic ideas of annihilation and destinations of hell and the lake of fire – that which we face at the end of our mortal lives.

Revelations 1:18
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

2) We have to triumph over fear of death while we are living – that is live with no fear of starving, lacking shelter, or succumbing to accidents and disease.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Romans 8:15
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Hebrews 2:14-15
   Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

3) Moreover, for us to be eternal, we need to want to live, and thus truly be free in a world with a wealth of possibilities.
Isaiah 61:1
   …to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Isaiah 49:9
That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

For immortality and heaven, we have to hold back that dirty desire we all have inside of us.  Undeniably, we all have something inside of us that, as history has demonstrated, ruins the entire world.  Unfortunately, we cultivate this failure inside all of us.  When asked, the world responds with love towards this, and encourages us in this pursuit.  But, to defeat it unlocks victories innumerable and challenges the very nature of death itself.  What dark craving do we need to stamp out?  On the great day of judgement, what yearning renders us guilty?  We want to help.

We look at this decaying world, and we want to help.  Our peers commend us on our desire to lend a hand.  But death and destruction follow.
Paul wanted to right the course of his rotting world.
His zeal led directly to persecution – hell on earth.

Philippians 3:6
Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

Acts 22:3-5
I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
And I persecuted this way unto the death,
binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.

Acts 8:3
As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

Your moral system might be of The Law, or perhaps your moral system involves gender equality, or social justice, or private business libertarianism, or puritan sexual deviancy discouragements.
Regardless, you have that zeal.  And, ideally, you would like to help by getting your voice out there – perhaps on Youtube or on your blogging website.  You know you can make this world a better place.
But, like Paul, as more and more of those violators of your moral system face justice – hell and death sweep over earth.  With less and less freedoms from your moralizing, we paint ourselves into a corner, with more and more restrictions – and life simply isn’t worth living as we look forward to death’s release.
We might criticise authoritarian regimes, but regular people are just as guilty as the Stalins, Maos, and Hitlers because, as soon as we have a voice, a blogging website, or a Youtube account – we are busybodies on the airwaves demanding that others conform to our common sense.  We call it helpful advice.

1 Timothy 5:13
And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

You might have discovered that many people have a Vitamin D deficiency.  If you have a circle of family and friends, you might tell them this.  With a little more power, you might have a social media following.  So, you put out a social media message concerning Vitamin D.  With more power as a person with money, you can distribute free Vitamin D.  With more power as a techno-elite, you have high-technology to create wearable monitoring devices for Vitamin D deficiency.  With more power as a world government leader, you can force citizenry to wear this monitoring device for their own health – and to make sure that they are not up to any sinful (subversive) acts.  Very quickly, your ‘good’ deeds create the genesis of hell on earth.

The only difference between those helping with another five rules of advice – and genocide is if your authority is backed by raw power.
Heaven belongs to the free nature of children – not corrupted by the moralizing rules from the adults.
Matthew 18:3
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Ideally, we would not need more and more advice, and we could do as we pleased.
Judges 21:25
In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

The sinful nature of humanity isn’t that we fail to do good.
Our sinful nature is that we do good.

The only way we can escape our sinful nature is learning what ‘good’ is from God’s perspective.  Our definition of ‘good’ is very different from what God sees as goodconsolidated in the person of Christ – a person of a radically different nature and viewpoints that even professing Christians see as ‘good.’

Isaiah 64:6
   But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteous deeds are as filthy rags;

To be good from God's perspective, we have to discard our own 'righteousness' and put on another's righteousness – proper righteousness from Christ – a righteousness unfamiliar to us.

The central truth of the Bible is not that we steal, or murder, or envy, or some common sense naughtiness.
It’s that we go our own way, with our iniquity (rebellion) against following Christ.

Isaiah 53:6
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

We follow a replacement righteousness – a ‘goodness’ of what is agreeable to the world.  Instead of pursuing Christ as leader – we follow the leader who demonstrates the upper limit of our own works by our own hands.
We purse independence from God – optimum self-sufficiency.
What’s this?  Nexus Six.

(18 seconds in length)

Deckard: What's this?
Bryant: Nexus Six. Roy Batty. Incept date 2016. Combat model. Optimum self-sufficiency. Probably the leader.

But you might have met someone who you genuinely believe to be properly righteous and good.  God would Voight-Kampff by asking: Has that person made an unconditional commitment to the authority and leadership of Jesus Christ?  No?  Then not good enough.

Luke 18:9-14
And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

But what is the solution?  In a choking world of charity, slow-clapping applause, preaching from pastors to stand-up comedians to news anchors – more faceporn delivering yet another speech telling us what to do – how can we possibly find our way away from the 1776 Americanism, the latest young pulpit personality, or the gospel of wokeness – to actual freedom?  Good old-fashioned beatings.

The church is symbolized as a golden candlestick.
Revelation 1:20
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

But the refined gold that we are to be is through beatings.
Exodus 25:31
And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.

Revelation 6:9-10
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

Our shield of faith takes blows of the enemy.
Ephesians 6:16
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Accordingly, the shields are of beaten gold.
1 Kings 10:16-17
And king Solomon made two hundred large shields of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of gold went to one target.
And he made three hundred small shields of beaten gold; three pound of gold went to one shield: and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

Olive oil beaten for the eternal flame:
Exodus 27:20
And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.

Captain Bryant called Blade Runner Deckard ‘a one man slaughter house.’

(15 seconds in length)

Bryant: Christ, Deckard, you look almost as bad as that skin job you left on the sidewalk.
Deckard: I'm going home.
Bryant: You could learn from this guy, Gaff. He's a god damn one man slaughter house. That's what he is.

While Deckard effectively retired all four replicants that came to earth, Deckard was beaten up quite badly by all four.

When Paul was called by Christ – Paul (then known as ‘Saul’) was immediately physically disabled – blinded for three days.
Acts 9:8-9
And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

And, not only did the Apostle Paul have critics, but he took his beatings.
Acts 16:22-24
And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.
And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:
Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

Acts 20:22-23
And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

2 Corinthians 11:24-27
Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.
   Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
   In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

Why did Paul have tribulation in his ministry for the Lord?
Because, for unlimited potential, Paul had to break out of being a simple label.
Philippians 3:5
   Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

2 Corinthians 11:22
Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.

Paul was a traditional Pharisee with his customs.  Similarly, you might be a Republican in Missouri.  And you’ll do what right-leaning people do, day after day, week after week, year after year.  You might be a progressive in Singapore, and you do what your tribe does in a similar manner.
But with affliction, Paul and all of us can break out of our conventional view of ourselves, and truly move in different spheres (truly move in new spheres that are uncomfortable) – arenas of vastly new and varied options – and discover who we are regarding the tests, the tribulations of life.
1 Corinthians 9:20-22
   And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

And, with tribulation, we discard those shared memories as we realize that the world does not provide the safe harbour we thought it might.
We are grafted into new memories – as we rely solely on the strength of the Lord – not the world and its systems of finance, healthcare, education.
With tribulation, Paul grafted into new memories of relying on God for help (discarding the old memories of Pharisee tradition).
Acts 26:21-23
For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me.
Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:
That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

Paul didn’t have great results in Athens with those shared memories where he quoted poets.  So, when he went to Corinth, he determined to rely solely on God.
Acts 17:28-29
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

With weakness, fear, and trembling – Paul discarded his reliance on the memories of who he was as a Pharisee.
1 Corinthians 2:1-3
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

All of us, like Blade Runner Deckard, pursue our goals, pushing our way through the crowd, struggling in the darkness, confounded by false religions like Hare Krishna, looking left and right for direction.  We are labouring.  We are working.

We only enter God’s rest when we end this work by breaking from the crowd (coming alone to God) to become ourselves – not another label.
And Deckard succeeded in his goal of retiring replicant Zhora only when he broke from the crowd, moved away from the Dragon, that is the Devil, and got a clear shot.

Similarly, all of us Blade Runners labour for the moment of being a living epistle of the seventh day of rest – where we, through God’s Grace, have a clear shot.
By reaching the end of our own ‘good’ works – our own efforts (restraint), Deckard had an easy victory – shooting Zhora in the back.  Accordingly, Deckard saw that the devilish serpent was just a pathetic branch on Zhora’s face.

Lucifer:
Isaiah 14:18-19
All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

What are we working for?
We are labouring for rest.

We labour to enter into rest – a rest provided by God.
Psalm 116:7
Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Psalm 55:22
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

This rest is us finishing our works and entering that seventh day of rest.
Genesis 2:1-3
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

The Law being a preview of things to come in types and shadows – previews our rest on the Sabbath, the seventh day.  But, as we bring the written Word to life in us – us as living epistles of The Law: this end of our works and rest is so much beyond traditional a seventh day of rest.
Colossians 2:16-18
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind…

The Law:
Leviticus 6:13
The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

As with most ‘science-fiction,’ the Nexus Six replicants are our fictional depiction of the best we can do without God – works by high-technology and advanced science.
The replicants: Rachael, Roy, Leon, Pris, and Zhora embody strength, endurance, intelligence, beauty – but, in the end, could only hope for a bit more life from Dr. Eldon Tyrell.

Labourer Leon works all day and night.

(18 seconds in length)

Captain Bryant: That’s Leon. Ammunition loader on intergalactic runs. He can lift four-hundred pound atomic loads all day and night.

Accordingly, Leon is introduced to us on his sixth day of labour.

(18 seconds in length)

Intercom: Next subject, Kowalski, Leon. Engineer, waste disposal.  File section, new employee, six days.

But only by exhausting our sixth day of work and moving into the seventh day of rest can we move beyond what is ultimately our failure – Nexus Six – culminating in our death.

Sixth to Seventh:

Joshua 6:3-5
And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.
And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.
And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.

When Abraham embraced the spiritual strength of yielding, the veil (the meaning of the name ‘Lot’) was removed – and Abraham could see in God’s light, and have properly sunny days, not needing a soulish veil.  Abraham would have true fruits of labour by moving beyond soulish six days of work, and being in the spiritual seventh day.
We labour to enter rest in God’s Grace – and we only do that when we have exhausted our own efforts – where we will finally have restraint: the edge.

Ephesians 2:8-10
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

We want that moment when God gives us a clear shot – as Deckard had shooting Zhora.
Deuteronomy 33:26-27
There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

We want the necks of our enemies – as these enemies beg for someone to save them.  (God can trust us with this power because we have restraint – properly targeting enemies.)
2 Samuel 22:41-44
Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.
Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.

Luke 19:27
But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

With spiritual re-connection, we have unity with God and are truly purple.
2 Corinthians 10:6
And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

That is, we can avenge when we leave room for God’s wrath.
Romans 12:19
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but leave room for God’s wrath.  For it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

This is immortality.
We only have everlasting life when we re-connect to the spiritual – a reliance on God – reversing Adam’s moment of death when he lost connection to the spiritual.
We labour for rest – a seeming contradiction.  We labour, as we all do in life – but only labour for rest when we can exhaust our own ‘good’ works.
At the end of our six days of work, only achieving that which is simply not good enough, and if we are unwilling to settle for our soulish works – makes us reach up for Grace – above which we can achieve on our own.

Only by labouring to enter into rest – that is, exhausting our own ‘good’ works, can we yearn and enter into our proper destination – the rest of the Lord.
Psalm 62:1-2
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

But we have to fail in our own ‘good’ works, like Paul as he was blinded by Jesus’ light.
We have to labour to enter into rest – our own labourious efforts which result in trouble, tribulation, failure, everything falling apart, for us to enter into that rest.  Success by our own efforts is our enemy.
Psalm 73:12-18
Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
   When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.

And like Paul, our life continues to have tribulation.
Troubles might come as we are being chastised by the Lord, in order that we might return to the Lord’s rest…
2 Kings 18:11-12
And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:
Because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded, and would not hear them, nor do them.

…or because we need to be pruned to grow more and more fruit – as we grow in the Lord’s rest.
John 15:2
…and every branch that beareth fruit, he prunes it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

When we have trouble, tribulations, failures – we learn to bring heaven to earth by being restrained.  Heaven cannot exist unless we refrain from limiting others’ freedoms.
Paul no longer was zealous to put people right as he saw fit.  Entering God’s rest not only gives us the Holy Spirit for power in that moment of Grace – but also gives us our restraint.

Acts 16:6-8
Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,
After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.
And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.

Paul’s restraint:
Romans 15:20
Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation

2 Corinthians 10:14
For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ

Walking in the Lord’s strength for that clear shot:
1 Corinthians 3:6-9
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

We need to restrain, especially our communication.
Proverbs 10:19
In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

All, including the preachers and the various moralizers of the world, should be slow to speak and quick to listen.
James 1:19-20
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

So many times, we are not in God’s rest, and we’re working so hard in a soulish sense.
Luke 10:38-42
Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

God’s weapon against the time of trouble is a cold, hard word: the snow and hail – creating a wintry world where the light not only shines from above, but also bounces off the snowy ground.
Job 38:22-23
Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

Accordingly, the only appearance of snowfall (fake Christmas snow in a plastic world) in Blade Runner occurs after Deckard has broken from the crowd and got that clear shot to retire replicant Zhora.

A man shooting a retreating woman in the back has been a difficult action to accept for quite some time (but snow on the ground enhances the brightness of the light).
Our shared memories are of a man holding a door open for a woman, or on a bended knee asking for her hand in marriage.
Similarly, our shared memories from the mainstream media depicting Jesus and angels – would be happy and sappy – and simply wouldn’t include their witness of human torment forever and ever.

Revelation 14:9-11
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

A cold, hard Word will help you navigate a decaying world.
Describe in single words, only the good things that come into your mind about your mother.
With the snow, your answer might change as you break out of the world and are grafted into new shared memories.

2 Kings 6:28-29
And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow.
So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son.

Lamentations 4:10
The hands of compassionate women have cooked their own children, who became their food in the destruction of the daughter of my people.

You know that there are good people out there, the heroes, because every narrative (tv, movie, book, packaged news program) features heroes for the narrative’s moral resolution where the problems are resolved and the bad guys are defeated.

In contrast:

Psalm 14:1-3
They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

With your shared memories of the triumph of the will – your heroes bravely battled formidable enemies in dangerous circumstances and prevailed – creating a narrative friendly biography to justify erecting a bronze statue.
With our shared memories of career success, charitable endeavours, breaking gender barriers, jetsetting to enjoy the fruits of the world – via the media, education, and our programmed fellowship – the story of our lives navigates a path of good – helping others as we overcome evil. Heroes.
But if our lives are truly of unlimited potential – amazing vertical ascend, and tragic failure – and every detail in between – our lives are far more complex than our ever simplifying shared memories of heroes.
Accordingly, Job (who was tormented unjustly(?)) digested and debated the nuances of justification and innocence
.
Job 9:20-23
If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.
Though I were perfect, yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life.
This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.
If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the trial of the innocent.

With a cold, hard Word – you can finally break away from that dark desire that we all have – that desire to help others.
As the snowy, hard Word melts – via heat fed, we are grafted in – we can divide the spiritual and the soulish – then finally we can learn restraint.
We then realize proper heroes holding up civilization aren’t like Taylor Swift being congratulated for standing up to patriarchal oppression – while buying a new beach-front mansion.  We restrain from these soulish desires of materialism and envy.
Moreover, proper heroes are not the disabled in the Special Olympics chasing trophies.  Proper heroes are not even in the war amputees trying to achieve normal lives.  Restraining our ‘help,’ we know that Christ’s death on the cross was not so that the disabled could only achieve a ‘normal’ dead-end job existence.
Proper heroes are not of the soulish: recognition, applause, speeches, cocktail parties, social media following.  Furthermore, proper heroes are not even striving to overcome to live just paycheque to paycheque.  With restraint, we attune to the Holy Spirit’s breath of life – infusing life at a level our soulish acts could never achieve.

Luke 21:1-4
And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Revelation 18:24
And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Those in Christ can finally break away from the demonic who want to do what everyone loves and applauds – help, aid, support, guidance, assistance.
Those in Christ can finally achieve unlimited potential – upholding all aspects of the various details of societies.  Rather than achieve just a small bit of society (of heroic, soulish achievement) – where all the plastic smiles look the same – by breaking free of the devilish helping hand of the world – proper Christians can finally achieve all – by losing.
Rather than living in the world of the machine, where the Hollywood script brings a predictable narrative to fruition just as the sun goes down – proper Christians live in the real world where we get our hands dirty to build a sustainable world.

1 Timothy 5:10
Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.

Acts 9:36
Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

Genesis 43:24
And the man brought the men into Joseph's house, and gave them water, and they washed their feet; and he gave their asses provender.

Romans 12:13-16
Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep
Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

To bring heaven to earth, we don’t lionize cartoonish heroes with their narrative friendly triumphs.  To bring heaven to earth, we don’t settle for everyday nine-to-five jobs where we look forward to retirement and then death.
To bring heaven to earth, we build all parts of society, every little detailed piece – in so building ourselves in detail – high definition in living colour – where everything isn't black and white.

Titus 2:9-10
   Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

Luke 7:45-46
Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

Just like Noah and his family built every bit of the ark – we get our hands dirty to build our real world.
Genesis 6:14-16
Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

In contrast, we all live in a culture where we hope that our daughter has an enjoyable career in a pristine office, and lives in a respectable neighbourhood where other people do the dirty jobs.  As we, with our shared memories bouncing around the narrative resolutions of pop-culture – where everyone is a special snowflake with an important morality-laced story to tell – we find that society crumbles, as no one wants to clean up messes, replace plumbing, wipe mildew, or harvest berries.  And even if they do want to do the menial jobs – we all know of course that they are capable, are bound, and are aspiring for something better in life.  Because of course they are.

Revelation 12:12
Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

In his last days, the Devil wants his people, and wants to prepare his people.
The Devil prepares his people in the soulish realm.

Genesis 3:6
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

After being tempted by the Devil, Eve prioritized the soulish realm (physical senses) – seeing that the tree was good for food.
Eve fell (and Adam joined her by eating of the forbidden fruit) – as she saw 1) it was good for food (lust of the flesh), 2) pleasant to the eyes (lust of the eyes), and 3) a tree to be desired to make one wise (pride of life).

1 John 2:15-17
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Accordingly, the Devil implores that his people have faith in believing that which is seen.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Fire and then light upon darkness:
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.
But the Devil’s heat only delivers sorrowful water that results in death, being bound to the temporal.
All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain. Time to die.

(57 seconds in length)

The ‘Tears in Rain’ soliloquy was spoken in front of a large sign of ‘TDK.’  Back in 1982, the TDK company was best known for electronic storage like cassettes and videotapes.  Recorded moments in time.  Memories.

We overcome the Devil when we return to faith rather than soulish/physical/carnal/physical senses.  In the soulish, we see the fruit to be good.
Adam and Eve had the representation of God in his Word (faith) – which was one statement…

Genesis 2:16-17
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

…but Adam and Eve lost faith in that Word.
We overcome the wicked one, who is the serpent in the garden of Eden, when the Word of God is in us via faith.

1 John 2:14
I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

When God confronted Job about Job’s and his friends’ pontifications about God and his ways – God arrived to expound the truth.
Job 38:1-3
Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

God asked if Job knew about the detailed components of creation.
Job 38:12-21
   Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.
Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? Or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?
Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? Or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? Declare if thou knowest it all.
Where is the way where light dwelleth? And as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?
Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? Or because the number of thy days is great?

God expounds the snow, frost, hail, water – against the attack ships on fire – bringing life: budding of the tender herb to spring forth.
Job 38:22-30
Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? Or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?
   Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;
   To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
Hath the rain a father? Or who hath begotten the drops of dew?
Out of whose womb came the ice? And the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

God wants us to be at the level where we can bind the seven sisters of Pleiades and loosen the angels of Orion.
Job 38:31-36
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? Or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are?
Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who hath given understanding to the heart?

For God to put his trust in us – we have to cleave to the spiritual (not the soulish), in a real and practical way – for societies to actually work – filling the appetite of the young lions and providing ravens’ food.
Job 38:37-41
Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,
When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?
Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,
When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?
Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.

God wants you to do the amazing, without limit.
Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Matthew 17:20
If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

And God wants you to build society, and edify yourself and your fellow man.
Acts 9:30-31
Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

With proper fellowship and proper love, we are to build links to each other – networks to each other.
Ephesians 4:16
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

For proper freedom, we ideally don’t have top-down control authority.
But, in reality, in our zeal to do good, to help each other, we lack restraint and we soulishly try to build all aspects of society, going beyond what we can do by our own works, not entering the rest that is Grace – a Grace that can guide us.
We end up with demonic, false gods.

Judges 17:5-6
And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

We were always going to need Christ as head to be proper builders.
Ephesians 4:15-16
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Revelation 19:15
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

John 8:44-45
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

You are property of the Devil, and you don’t even know it.
Your heroes and role models cannot truly build and sustain society, as they do not encompass all of a sustainable society.  Your heroes and role models invent ingenious devices, score touchdowns, die in battle – but don’t ride the bus to help out at someone else’s Bible crusade.  They don’t glory in the tribulation of striking out when the baseball game was on the line.  They don’t ignore the latest glossy self-help book as they sigh with disgust.
You are well on your way to a brain implant, as you’ve already accepted the top-down authority of big media, big tech, and the education system where the programming romantic comedy has a moral resolution of ‘accepting others just as they are.’  You’ve accepted your history class teachings where ‘peaceful protests’ would save the day.  You’ve accepted that your identity is your job – because repeatedly, when the gameshow introduces you, they say your name, your home town, and your job.
A car needs more than a nice paint job, leather seats, and a ‘vroom’ sound.  It needs axles, wiring, gaskets, brake pads, and more.  For society to function, it needs all aspects, not just the detached morality where Sunday school tells us lying is wrong.
Moses and The Law came as a precursor to Christ.  But with Christ, we have a fullness – where a person consolidates all 66 books of the Word.
Where the Devil’s lies cause death to a society that will always lack, be hypocritical, falling down under its own weight – Christ’s society is fullness of truth – encompassing all.

Ephesians 1:23
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Why do we pray in the name of Jesus Christ?
John 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 16:24
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

We pray in Christ’s name because he lived life properly as body/soul/spirit.
Satan bypasses the spirit and attacks the soul when he comes to tempt.

Matthew 4:1-3
Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Job 1:21
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

Job 2:7
So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

Satan wants you to ignore your spirit and decide through your soul’s freewill to focus on the seen, bodily world.
The Devil wants your mind/soul to worry about food, heat during the winter, and money.

Matthew 6:25
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.

Right now, you are Nexus Six.  You are soulishly labouring to help people, yourself, and the world.  You are soulishly labouring to be and do good.
But isn’t doing work good?

Exodus 31:15
Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

Isn’t gathering sticks for construction or firewood good?
Numbers 15:32-36
And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.
And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.
And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Under the New Covenant (Testament) we bring the types and shadows of the Old Covenant (Testament) to life in us.  As living epistles, we know the importance of the day of rest – that is the importance of restraint from work.  Rather than legalistically doing rules under the Old Covenant (with a Sabbath day of rest), the culmination with the New Covenant means that we know that to not restrain from work is death.  If we soulishly continue that sixth day of work, we are as dead as Nexus Six invariably dies.
How do we move from being Sixth to the Seventh day, which is rest in the Lord?

Matthew 11:28-30
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Joshua 23:10
One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you.

We make a decision from our soul/mind to pursue the spiritual, not the soulish.
Right now, you are like Rachael, and your morality is the Devil’s replacement morality – programmed into you via feel-good resolutions from romantic comedies where we learn to focus on family and not just workplace slavery, cable news where we learn smiling, talking heads are the ones to be trusted, and action-dramas where we know the good lawmen will prevail over those who want to do harm.  And like Rachael, you haven’t a clue that you’ve been programmed – implanted memories – until a Blade Runner tells you what you didn’t want to hear.
What you decide to think upon (a decision from your soul) is who you are.
If you choose to focus on food and drink – and the consumerism of the world, then that’s who you are.

Proverbs 23:7
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

However, if you choose to focus on the spiritual, resting in the Lord, then that’s who you are.
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Being grafted in, we have proper memories – as we discard silly fables which focus on the bodily.
1 Timothy 4:6-8
If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

With true Spiritual focus and connection to God, we can have as we like.
John 16:23
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

John 14:14
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

If we walk on water:
Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

After a six day work week and the seventh day of rest – during the days of our lives – what comes next?  We start again with another six day work week, a seventh day of rest – over and over again in our temporal world.  But, this is not immortality.
For immortality, we need an eighth day.
For those of you who are rather clever regarding math, you might say that there is no ‘eighth day.’  And you would be completely correct.  Counting, we have Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday – and then back to Sunday, Monday, Tuesday…
But, for immortality, to be eternal, we need to be beyond time: the eighth day.
To defeat the death of the Great Flood in the days of Noah, eight emerged to life – a preview of resurrection.

1 Peter 3:18-22
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
   By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Moving from the seventh to the eighth day – to defeat deadly disease:
Leviticus 14:7-11
And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.
And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.
But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.
And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation

Moving from the seventh to the eighth day – to atone for death:
Numbers 6:9-11
And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.
And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.

From the seventh to the eighth and being with the Lord via fire:
Leviticus 22:27
When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the mother; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Christ’s eight days of return:
John 20:26
And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

The number of man is six.  The priestly class, the Levites, (under the Old Testament) were given six cities for refuge – and also forty-two cities for their day-to-day lives – seven days of the week (total of forty-eight cities).  The pattern of six leads to forty-two divided by six equals seven days of the week.
Numbers 35:6-7
And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities.
So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall ye give with their suburbs.

What is the importance of six cities for refuge?
Numbers 35:9-15
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
   Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares.
And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment.
And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge.
Ye shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge.
These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.

The six cities are one extra six beyond the seven sixes of forty-two cities.  (So, an eighth six).
We as Nexus Six will have a death sentence from The Law, as all have fallen short of the glory of the Lord.  We enter the eighth six (beyond seven sixes) still as the accused sinner – the criminal – to be judged, still as six, Nexus Six.
The Old Testament (Covenant) is a preview of the New Testament (Covenant) in types and shadows.
Under the Old Testament (Covenant) the children of Israel had access to God via the priest and the high priest.
Under the New Testament (Covenant), all have access to God via Christ as our high priest (both for the children of Israel and the stranger – which is no longer a stranger).

Concerning your elderly grand-father, you understand that his last will and testament is not legal until he dies.  Similarly, the New Testament is not legal until the death of the testator: Christ.

Hebrews 9:14-17
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Accordingly, the Old Testament has a preview of Christ’s death – in that the accused sinner cannot be free from a city of refuge until the high priest dies.
Numbers 35:25-28
And the congregation shall deliver the slayer out of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil.
   But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled;
And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood:
Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession.

Under The Law, the revenger had legal right to kill the accused sinner – unless the accused sinner stayed in the city of refuge – under a priest anointed with holy oil.
But, with the death of the high priest (after the eighth six), the accused sinner had freedom of movement.

Jewish baby boys were circumcised on the eighth day – as a preview of the seed of Abraham and David producing the Saviour – the blood sacrifice.
Acts 7:8
And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

Genesis 17:12
And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

However, the foretelling of Jesus (circumcision) is no longer needed (as Christ came and departed).  What is needed is memories.  We remember Christ to perform that magic trick to be born again to get that new seed of Christ inside us, after we have already been born.
1 Corinthians 11:24-26
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

The Devil’s counterfeit of the spiritual cannot move beyond six and seven to eight.

The bishop:

(1 minute, 18 seconds in length)

Sebastian: Queen to Bishop Six. Check.
Tyrell: Nonsense. Just a moment. Mmm. Queen to Bishop Six. Ridiculous. Queen to Bishop Six. Hmm... Knight takes Queen. – What's on your mind Sebastian? What are you thinking about?
Roy: (whispered) Bishop to King Seven. Checkmate.
Sebastian: Bishop to King Seven. Checkmate, I think.

Hell or heaven?  That’s the spirit:

(36 seconds in length)

Roy: You better get it up, or I'm gonna have to kill ya! Unless you're alive, you can't play, and if you don't play... Six, seven. Go to hell or go to heaven.
Roy: Good, that's the spirit.

In an era of deception, we need to have a love of the truth.
Spiritual speech will destroy any hypocrites with the brightness of the truth.
2 Thessalonians 2:8-12
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

What was the great sin that caused God to destroy with the Great Flood and fire and brimstone on Sodom and Gomorrah?
It was that we carried on in our regular lives: eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building, marrying, etc.
Luke 17:26-30
And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
   Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Matthew 24:37-39
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Without restraint, we never rest to exit our busy world to see how God truly sees.  We think that this world of technological progress, partisan bickering, personal ambition, and tribal agreements is the complete world.  Without the love of truth, we cannot see beyond the fleshly/carnal/physical/soulish world.

We need to rest where we are grafted into proper memories to have oil for fire and light.
Matthew 25:1-13
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Note that all ten virgins were believers in Christ’s arrival.   All ten virgins went to meet the bridegroom.   But, the five foolish virgins were professing Christians who simply flamed out – like so many who accuse with scripture, and never look in the mirror – or those who are lost in legalism – or those who soulishly rested in being ‘saved.’
To be immortal, we need to be like King David, who saw that this world and his world would end, certainly with his own mortal death, and he needed to confront the reality of judgement beyond this world.
Without restraint, that rest where we can contemplate proper memories – in our soulish world of agreements, a Nexus of 666, we will never be able to resolve the logical contradiction of Jesus – 888 – a portrait in flesh of resurrection, going one beyond 777.
On the sixth day, we will never be able to resolve the contradiction of the Lion prevailing as the slain Lamb.
Revelation 5:5-6
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Do you view the poor in spirit, mourners, meek, righteousness-hungry, merciful, pure in heart, peacemakers, and those persecuted by their own tribe – as blessed?
Matthew 5:3-12
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Zechariah 13:6
And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

2 Timothy 4:16
At my first defense no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

Filled with oil, Samuel could see beyond the soulish.
1 Samuel 16:1
And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

Samuel could look beyond the soulish outward appearance, and see the heart.
1 Samuel 16:6-13
And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD'S anointed is before him.
But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.
Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.
Again, Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these.
And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.
And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.
Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

Samuel could move from the seventh to the eighth.
Luke 16:15
…for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

The champion, King David, was the overlooked eighth son.
1 Samuel 17:10-12
And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.
When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly afraid.
Now David was the son of that Ephrathite of Bethlehemjudah, whose name was Jesse; and he had eight sons
: and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Saul.

Party time (seventh to eighth):
1 Kings 8:65-66
And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.
On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.

Leviticus 8:33-36, 9:1-2
And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you.
As he hath done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.
Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded.
So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
   And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;
And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.

Dr. Eldon Tyrell: If we gift them the past we create a cushion or pillow for their emotions and consequently we can control them better.

The Devil, being markedly less powerful than God, always wanted control for his Nexus – agreements, for his society.
When adventure movies soulishly work your emotions with the formulas of defeating the bad guys – know that the normalisation of getting the latest Apple product, or reacting to the latest social justice issue – this is not you.
And our normalised interactions, like getting your credit approved, discussions regarding the latest Netflix show, buying low and selling high, complaining about the hotel service – is not proper fellowship and love.
These are implants from the machine which we’ve accepted.
When the outrage economy churns (where the new pop-cultural icons did an outrageous dance on network television – and conservative pundits scream ‘they’ve gone too far!’), and Twitter explodes with arguments for and against that flagrant display with memes and one-liners where everyone can find their place in that discussion – this isn’t you.  You’re being programmed by the owners of big media and big tech just like you already had a brain chip.
When social media is outraged about children being abused, or economic disaster – and you are expected to react – these are implants.  Those aren't your memories of who you truly are.  They're somebody else's.  They’re not even human.  They’re a product of the machine, just like you.
In Satan’s world, our links, our networks with each other isn’t proper fellowship.  It’s not proper love.  The Devil’s people have built a shaky world which will fall – built on lying moralities from the machine.
It’s held together with the strength of a spider’s web.
With implanted memories, we forget God, and build as hypocrites scorched with no root.
Job 8:12-18
Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb.
So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:
Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web.
He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.
He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden.
His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones.
If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.

Without the memories of that insect from Israel, as we don’t plead for truth, we trust in that spider’s web.
Isaiah 59:4-6
None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.
Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.

One day, as the bride of Christ, with repentance, we might be able to be naked, removing the clothing of our own ‘good’ works.
One day, we might come out of the whore of Babylon system, putting Nexus Six in the rear view mirror – where we discard memories as a child of false god: medical Doctor Eldon Tyrell – in whom we trust for more life.
One day, as we look back, we might be able to say: “Remember when you were six?”

(1 minute, 32 seconds in length)

Rachael: You think I'm a replicant, don't you?
Rachael: Look, it's me with my mother.
Deckard: Yeah. – Remember when you were six? You and your brother snuck into an empty building through a basement window. You were gonna play doctor. He showed you his, but when it got to be your turn you chickened and ran. Remember that? You ever tell anybody that? Your mother, Tyrell, anybody huh? You remember the spider that lived in a bush outside your window? Orange body, green legs. Watched her build a web all summer. Then one day there was a big egg in it. The egg hatched–
Rachael: The egg hatched...
Deckard: And?
Rachael: And a hundred baby spiders came out. And they ate her.
Deckard: Implants! Those aren't your memories. They're somebody else's. They're Tyrell's niece's.
