   A continual dropping on a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.

The virtuous woman at home:

Proverbs 31:15,21,27
   She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
   …She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
   …She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Proverbs 14:1
   Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.

1 Timothy 5:4,14
   But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home…
   I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

The virtuous woman: note the quietness.

   …even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
   For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands

   Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
